I don’t do Turo but as someone who’s been thru the ringer with vehicles & risen from the ashes I can give a few pieces of solid advice.
1) Never buy from a dealer
2) Don’t buy new
3) If it’s not a Honda or Toyota don’t even consider it.
4) Learn how to do maintenance & repairs on your own vehicles.
Simple answer buy the cheapest cars you can 10k and under. I have a mix of cash cars (cheap) and car loans new cars and honestly you don't get much more for the newer cars. So as I go through my cars I'm just buying 10k and under going forward.
I got 3 financed. I have 3 approval loans and went car shopping...but the payments suck. I'm debating waiting for to buy cash or to go ahead and use these 3 loans...dbl my fleet and then I'll be able to de-leverage quicker with cash generated from revenue. I walked away from an absolute sweet deal on a sentra because they would not drop the price by even a dollar.
@@texasjatt7488 yea its tough decision, I just had two total loss, the cash car I broke even on what I paid, the financed car I will still owe 5k on the loan.
I thought the car could not be 12 years old and 130k miles max to rent 😊
Enjoy the content but I think you could have cut it down about 10min-12min max
I love these! Gonna be purchasing my first fully for turo car in a couple days! Need help lol
How can you see the number of times it’s rented per month?
always love your content and InSite. thank you
Thank you so much ☺️
It’s good to make new car like Elantra 2024
Hey Saimah , very good video . I can do better editing in your videos which can help you to get more engagement in your videos . Pls lmk what do you think ?
Question, I went to your Turo profile to see what cars you're currently renting and it shows NO cars. It also says you joined 9 years ago and only have done 28 trips. But you're promoting yourself as a pro? It doesn't add up. Fair question, right?
She’s retired from Turo Host and the 28 trips you see are trips she’s booked as a guest
She’s recently retired and sold her fleet. It’s all been documented through out the years on her channel. Amazing content!
She is a retired pro, lol. For real tho she’s good.
I am aware of all that. But it brings up the question of whether it’s about helping people with Turo or just selling a product. There seems to be a trend among earlier Turo renters, they were in for a few years, then they got out once they established a TH-cam presence where they could still receive clicks without the problems associated with the evolving Turo business. It’s hard not to be skeptical, you can’t help but wonder the question: if you’re still up there promoting the business, presumably because it’s a good business to be in, why are you not still in it?
@@bams50 I imagine scalability and opportunity cost are a factor. If she walked the walk and now she can talk the talk, and earn similar amounts if not more by sharing her experience rather than running a fleet with idk, 50 vehicles? She would be smart to transition to videos rather than continuing the process. It is not easy to put out high quality videos in a short amount of time like she is doing.
This is all just a guess though.
She lost me when she said finance
