Jordan telling Cory he would get him to a final was the best argument of the night. Amanda and Paulie had the worst arguments lol. Amanda repeatedly telling Tori she doesn't like her, was dumb, and Paulie basically invited the winners to send him in against Theo.
Paulie always confuses me. He doesn't have a good angry face. And throwing an old ass challenge is only a little bit better thing to get mad over than pasta at this point. But get your Rivals IV partners guys. Paulie just always looks like he wants a good wrestle. He definitely gets more intense in elimination, but stare downs, could put a lot of different thought bubbles over his head.
The thing about both Amanda and Paulie is that they will always take the chance at making a good tv moment. In the end it doest matter if it's dumb. They make their mark as characters.
No it wouldn't. Paulie is annoying and Amanda SHOULD go. She's the worst on her squad. The only man (and I use that term loosely) on era IV that id prefer leave over Paulie is Josh but that's clearly not going to happen.
@@dvbrstst Okay, I feel better for my thinking. When he was staring him down, he didn't look mad. Kyle, he was going to get in trouble if given the chance. But Theo, it's just crazy eyes, but the look hit different to me. I forgot they made contact like that.
@@canaomalstend3014 Nurys is a good competitor but she’s definitely not the strongest when it comes to physical so I can’t say she’s completely well rounded. I felt bad for her but I also felt like her ego needed to be checked a little after last season.

The casting was really good because when they explained how the game was going to work I was looking at almost everyone and saying I don't want them to go home this episode.
Just when I think Laurel can’t up her insufferable level to new heights, she proves me wrong every time. To say Cara only looks out for Cara insinuating she’s the most selfish one. First off, who the hell else is supposed to look out for Cara? And second, that’s pretty self-unaware coming from someone who had a reign of terror in All Stars 4 and treated everyone like garbage over someone who ended up cheating on her. Truly the worst.
I feel like I need a bingo card for this season. Cara and Laurel being rivals: check. Michelle crying: check. Aneesa whining: check. Also, gotta love Tony thinking he could talk Corey and Tori out of voting him into an elimination.
I am a huge CT fan. A little disappointed that he didn't come in better shape. Yet he still beat every other man on the daily challenge, cementing his goat status.
CT got most of his wins in his "dad bod era". While it's nice to see him in shape, he really doesn't need to be to still be a top competitor on every season he's on.
@@ville666sora To be honest, the reason he got most of his wins with his dad bod is because he stopped getting kicked off for fighting. I love that we've watched CT grow up, and loved the moment he and Derrick shared talking about Diem.
Amanda was shook when she brought up Nelly T and Cory said "You have to give me more than that". She was expecting help from Cory and that didn't happen.
Felt a little cold how he said it though. Because without the events that happened, Nelson would be here. So many others are going to make decisions against him in favor of their outside connections. This could be his last time having this power. You don't want to think that way, but you can play that way. But honestly, I think its either they play as teams and eliminate as they lose like Battle of the Seasons, or they narrow every era down until it's last one or two women/men in each and then the final for last person or people. So it's tough to decide if you want to keep or lose toughest competition. But if we're dropping the bottom into elimination immediately, my bet is teams up to the very end. I feel like more seasons they get to pick are selfish ran seasons, and at least teams to a benchmark make more auto elimination picks.
@@SabrinaRina I've been thinking about Cory lately, and I think he's basically the new Derrick. He's very well liked, a very good physical player, a devoted father, etc. Cory and Derrick both got targeted earlier in their careers, but then they figured out how to just play a good social game which ensured that they don't get targeted as much anymore. If Cory played in the same era that Derrick did with all those team seasons, I think he'd be a multi-time champ by now. Anyway, putting his neck out for Amanda does absolutely nothing for Cory. He risks going in himself if he and Tori can't agree (though I don't think she'd stalemate over Averey the way she would over Jordan). Amanda is the weakest woman on the team by a significant margin, so sending in Averey over Amanda would weaken the team no matter what. Amanda doesn't have many friends on that team, whereas Averey has her Portland castmates. So if Corey insisted on sending in Averey over Amanda (or even worse, Jordan over Tony), there's a good chance that he just gets targeted relentlessly. All this to say that Cory is now too smart to do something that stupid. It reminds me of Derrick voting in Ibis on The Ruins. It was cold because they're from the same Road Rules season. But it was a good game move.
I totally agree them going at it early on and showing there flashback on war of the worlds 2 of Paulie getting in theo face actually kissing him was definitely hilarious 😂. I want to ask you Sarah do you think era 4 has the best drama at the house overall in your opinion? I ask that because I think era 4 is definitely going to be the first era to really emplode as a whole and have a huge target on there back in the game but what do you think Sarah?😁
I just also feel like nurys losing and being last 4 era 4 on the females and obviously she was going to pick Olivia because she never was going to pick Kaycee or Jenny to square off against her and I get she did you dirty last season overall but I think nurys is letting her emotions get the best of her and do you think she is making the smart move right away to get Olivia in the elimination?🤔
@@michaelwhite4004 to be fair she has the best odds against her. I would assume for this elimination massacre they would probably use a bunch a physical/ head bangers which she would lose to any of them but has the best chance against Olivia. But if they were to do puzzles Nurys would beat them all.
@@michaelwhite4004 I don't think she can be safe with any other choice. Very unlikely it'll be a pure puzzle with no physical element and she's more a match with Olivia than Kaycee or Jenny. Kaycee is a bit shorter than most, but living contact sports her muscle and agility is crazy. And Jenny is bulkier, so unless her cardio sucks, anything strength or full contact would be scary. Olivia is fit and active, but I don't think she's hard muscle like the other two. Only thing easier is if Michelle were an option, they're more equal builds and I think Michelle leans more puzzle to Nurys physical, but neither too much against the other.
Imagine being so upset over some pasta that you nearly killed the guy who threw it out and you're still upset over it YEARS later. Cory is a nutcase lol. Although it's funny to me that while Cory is still mad about it, Tony seems to have forgotten about it or just doesn't care.
@@ville666sora I don't think Cory really cares. He's had issues with Fessy in the past, but he still worked with him on USA 2 because it was good for his game. Sending Tony in is the right game move regardless.
Just the way CTs energy is in intro episode n this one. I think this is his swan song to his retirement. I don't want it to be but it seems like that's the vibe.
The fact that Laurel still doesn't respect Cara by this time still blows my mind. Laurel and Bananas are still very petty on items of the past and hold grudges for no reason lol
Johnny and Cara seem to have had a pretty good relationship for a number of years now, but I think he wants to keep his hands clean and just let Laurel do whatever she wants. Johnny is honestly set this season becuase it's likely going to end up being him and any single one of the girls on his team; whichever one it is he has a solid partner for a final. At this point with Laurel, it feels like a really weird jealousy thing.
Also also I want Cara to stop worrying about Laurel. Laurel had this fire that pushes her to win and Cara is just as good if not better but she talks herself out of her ability. She said that Laurel is arguably the best, Cara you are right there with her no arguments tho!!!
It’s very big sister/little sister. There is a level of respect there but Laurel always has to be right/the winner and Cara always lets that need for approval shake her confidence when it comes to Laurel. If she could get past that Cara could totally beat Laurel overall
@@stephaniepicarra2814except that “big sister” Laurel is toxic af & a complete narcissist who can’t handle someone being as good as her, so she tears Cara down every chance she gets. I don’t think Laurel knows the meaning of what it means to be a sister. She’s not even a girl’s girl. No ounce of women empowerment about her.
@@tawnyrobinson3930 I would agree with you. I do think it stemmed from a sibling like rivalry for many years but All Stars Laurel and even before then has been extremely toxic. But I do agree Laurel’s behavior does not look good on her at all.
I think CT played that elimination brilliantly. He always tells people what he’s thinking beforehand so he doesn’t get his hands dirty. Omg.... Yes....!!! I use to feel sorry for Anessa because she's been on the show for several years and never has one now I'm over her excuses. She's beyond well aware of what it takes to compete on these challenges so for her to constantly year after year challenge after challenge come completely outta shape I can't feel sorry for her anymore. Plus in the earlier seasons she'd be voted into eliminations a lot and I felt bad now I think if you get in almost dead last or whatever you deserve to go into elimination. I honestly think shes the dead weight on that team.
If Cara's an achor, how is it a "big swing" to get her out? Laurel's behavior (or at least edited behavior) towards Cara is almost unbearable to watch it's so despicable and shows Laurel has never grown out of her nastiness.
I totally agree. Laurel gets on my nerves. And did you see the look on her face while Aviv and Cara were talking to her. I can't stand her or her whiny I think I'm better than everyone else voice.
Cara is an anchor in finals and is pretty hit or miss at dailies, but she's one of the best at eliminations so I would say Laurel's statement isn't wrong.

I know most fans are pretty upset that 8 people will be heading home this early, but seeing this many legends and great players in the same house was incredible. Everytime the edit moved on to a different person/conversation it was always entertaining. Like Bananas, Pauli and Amanda having a talk was insane. Aviv having multiple moments was amazing as well. I think it’ll feel like this for the rest of the season.
I wished they didn't jump that far ahead from the last ep I wanted to see them shocked to see Jordan and TJ coming at the middle of the night saying that their first challenge was gonna be a night one
It feels so good to have the show back after a good break. And yeah I feel the same way you did, I was hoping to at least see what the eliminations would be for each era or will each era get the same elimination.
When I first heard of the season, I was excited. But then I remembered, this is the same challenge that loves to completely change the set up for finale, loves to overhype the seasons, and loves to add twists that never play out right. I just know they are going to make the finale individuals, which really turns me off from watching it. I would love to see these guys actually have to work as a team. And it really makes no sense to purge all of these players off the bat, unless the finale is an individual finale and not a team one. At least I have these channel to let me know how it goes and I don't have to tune in to watch the challenge in between commercials.
Am I missing something. Is all this disgust that Laurel has for Cara all about Nicole. In the past Laurel and Cara fought but made up. Now it seems like Laurel just hates Cara. Also the premiere should have been a 2 night event.
Great Review Drew Brother! I loved episode 1 it had a lot of nostalgic feels and I was so very proud of CT, Laurel, Rachel, Cara, Tina, Brad and Cory on how well they did in the daily!
When Laurel referred to Cara as a little sister. Damn near spate out my drink. If that’s how she treats family. I feel sorry for them. She needs to get over herself. If she hadn’t got so many freebee stars on All Stars, Cara would’ve whipped Laurel. I feel like Cara just wants to be done with Laurel but with them being on the same team she’s trying to coexist. But, Laurel just doesn’t want to. It’s really sad to see that Laurel hasn’t evolved from the petty, bully, mean girl she has always been. Justice for Cara. How many years has it been now?? Grow the F up.

The Corey hate is ridiculous. The smart move is to send in Tony. Right now it is a TEAM FORMAT challenge. In what world is it a good idea to get rid of Jordan on DAY FRICKEN ONE when you have all of these team daily's yet to play? Jordan is quite literally Era 3's only chance of winning a daily looking at their roster, so if Corey decides to send Jordan in and he gets eliminated, he's essentially signing Era 3's death certificate. Corey could be thrown into elimination every week as a result. Corey tried something similar in Dirty XXX when he sent in Darrell day one and it backfired completely. He needs to be smart here as he and Jordan could potentially dominate the daily's. It's a marathon, not a sprint.
If there was another male player as accomplished as Jordan, then I say send him in as Tony could be an asset down the line. Overall the goal should be to get Jordan out of the game
@@Rico401Prov The overall goal should be to keep Era 3 strong so they do well against the other eras in dailys. Era 1 has experience. We need to fact check Paulie and see if Theo was walking around the house with Paulie's name in his mouth. I never like Paulie. He gives Napoleon complex
Also, Paulie seemed a little confused. Bananas and Laurel threw the challenge to put Ninja into elimination, not Cara. We know this because Cara didn't get voted into the elimination. I also don't think that Theo knew about it, as there wouldn't be any real reason to tell him. After all, he had been Cara's partner on the previous season. And even if he did know, what's he supposed to do? He's on the other team, and USA losing benefits UK.
@@bigbuffguy9589 the plan was to have UK put Cara in against Ninja after Laurel & Bananas threw the daily but it backfired & Laurel got thrown in against Ninja. Which is where I think Paulie is getting confused about Theo knowing about it ahead of time. Which even if Theo did know, all he really could have done was given them a heads up because Theo would have only been (1) of (3) votes deciding who went against Ninja and even if he knew Laureal & Bananas were going to throw the daily before getting to the daily, Bananas would have went forward with the plan anyway. He is always super obvious when he throws a challenge.
The way Laurel talks about Cara so aggravating. Whether you like Cara or not she is good at the game. And either Laurel is so blinded by her dislike of Cara that she can't see that or she is so insecure that she is not willing to admit that car is her biggest fret in her era and that's why she wants her gone. Both versions makes her kind of pathetic. Laurel is one of the best in the game but man I cannot stand her

It’s definitely different seeing her around since she hasn’t been seen since I think inferno 3 and we can’t even watch that season for “reasons”
Jordan WILL win this thing!
The thing about both Amanda and Paulie is that they will always take the chance at making a good tv moment. In the end it doest matter if it's dumb. They make their mark as characters.
@@knockknock16facts. Which is why it would suck if they left so early
No it wouldn't. Paulie is annoying and Amanda SHOULD go. She's the worst on her squad. The only man (and I use that term loosely) on era IV that id prefer leave over Paulie is Josh but that's clearly not going to happen.
That kiss from Paulie hit different now that he came out😂😂😂😂

Love Kylan's reaction towards Michele's tears......
Nurys broke it down respectfully but was so point blank real about it. Michelle needed to hear that.

Laurel needs therapy. She is becoming Camilla and it is a matter of time before she takes things to far.
@@juliecombs1022I feel like that’s going to happen sooner than we think.
@@juliecombs1022good. Let her take things too far then she won’t come back. Weee sick and tired of her a$$. We’re all rooting for Cara
I feel like I need a bingo card for this season. Cara and Laurel being rivals: check. Michelle crying: check. Aneesa whining: check. Also, gotta love Tony thinking he could talk Corey and Tori out of voting him into an elimination.
I wanted to sing "look around, look around". Devin and Jordan... Tony you know you gotta actually play to stay if eliminations are era based my guy.
First one to cry being Michelle 😂😂😂
I love the quiet that came out of Josh that I forgot he was in this until he started talking 😆
I am a huge CT fan. A little disappointed that he didn't come in better shape. Yet he still beat every other man on the daily challenge, cementing his goat status.
Exactly but why would he bother when he still smoked everyone.
CT got most of his wins in his "dad bod era". While it's nice to see him in shape, he really doesn't need to be to still be a top competitor on every season he's on.
Dad bod CT is superior CT. Also helps him go less checked, because who wants to challenge the bear coming out of hibernation?
@@ville666sora To be honest, the reason he got most of his wins with his dad bod is because he stopped getting kicked off for fighting. I love that we've watched CT grow up, and loved the moment he and Derrick shared talking about Diem.
He's rarely been in "good" shape over the last five or six appearances but yet he's still consistently one of the best.
Amanda was shook when she brought up Nelly T and Cory said "You have to give me more than that". She was expecting help from Cory and that didn't happen.
Also knowing Tori won era 3 side is very important in that mix overall because if Amanda would have won she easily would have had Tori.😂
@@SabrinaRina I don't think it was cold, it was real. I would be like don't use my best friend as a reason for you not to go into the elimination.
Theo vs Paulie was the best part of the episode and then it ends. I just about screamed at my tv. 😂
I feel like their fake beef is so unnecessary. They could work together. Theo n Cara made a great team
It was like watching 4 seasons in one episode. Loved it

@@ville666sora I don't think Cory really cares. He's had issues with Fessy in the past, but he still worked with him on USA 2 because it was good for his game. Sending Tony in is the right game move regardless.

The fact that Laurel still doesn't respect Cara by this time still blows my mind. Laurel and Bananas are still very petty on items of the past and hold grudges for no reason lol
“respect”???? They clearly just don’t like/have beef. Nothin to do with game or Avivva would be clear option
I'm tired of Laurels hate for Cara
Johnny and Cara seem to have had a pretty good relationship for a number of years now, but I think he wants to keep his hands clean and just let Laurel do whatever she wants. Johnny is honestly set this season becuase it's likely going to end up being him and any single one of the girls on his team; whichever one it is he has a solid partner for a final.
At this point with Laurel, it feels like a really weird jealousy thing.

She’s been coming for her since WOTW2

It’s very big sister/little sister. There is a level of respect there but Laurel always has to be right/the winner and Cara always lets that need for approval shake her confidence when it comes to Laurel. If she could get past that Cara could totally beat Laurel overall
@@stephaniepicarra2814except that “big sister” Laurel is toxic af & a complete narcissist who can’t handle someone being as good as her, so she tears Cara down every chance she gets. @@tawnyrobinson3930 I would agree with you. I do think it stemmed from a sibling like rivalry for many years but All Stars Laurel and even before then has been extremely toxic. Plus in the earlier seasons she'd be voted into eliminations a lot and I felt bad now I think if you get in almost dead last or whatever you deserve to go into elimination. I honestly think shes the dead weight on that team.

CT, Cory, Johnny & Horacio W men winners 🔥🔥🔥🔥 .. no mixed feelings though, the first two episodes are bangers now with the Elims coming
When was Corey ever smart?🤣🤣🤣
If there was another male player as accomplished as Jordan, then I say send him in as Tony could be an asset down the line. Overall the goal should be to get Jordan out of the game
@@Rico401Prov The overall goal should be to keep Era 3 strong so they do well against the other eras in dailys. Era 1 has experience. Era 2 has the strongest females and Era 4 has the next gen of talent. In no world would it be a good idea to get rid of Jordan now who is arguably the best competitor in the game.
Theo told people he wanted Paulie. So Paulies name was in his mouth
@@bigbuffguy9589 the plan was to have UK put Cara in against Ninja after Laurel & Bananas threw the daily but it backfired & Laurel got thrown in against Ninja. Which is where I think Paulie is getting confused about Theo knowing about it ahead of time.
Sidenote; I love that they used the traditional boats since they're in Vietnam. I don't know if people are aware of it but I love seeing that cultural aspect being incorporated.
Theo vs Paulie in a hall brawl would be an awesome way to start this. Bananas is getting ready to stir shit up, hopefully he bring that OG era vibe to this house. I am getting tired of all the snowflakes in this new seasons.
Best thing that could happen this season, is Cara sending Laurel home in a puzzle elimination. I will be rooting for that to happen. I am getting tired of all of Laurel crying, even when she win, she is not happy, just because she knows Cara is a real beast.
Inital thoughts at Ep.1: I think they could’ve fought for Kyle to replace Theo in Era IV
Ending thoughts: WTF is wrong with me. 😂
You guys are lucky lol I have to wait until it’s on paramount 😭🤣
With 8 eliminations, that is all next week's episode will be. The fall out will be interesting and if the format changes or stays the same.
im rooting for nurys, sad to see her so bummed out. i have a feeling she might not go far this season. might go against jenny or olivia. losing the latter maybe.
I think the smartest thing to do bc it’s episode 1 and we don’t know the format, would be to keep the best people on and not burn bridges with the big dogs early on. The way the episode is looking though, I would not be surprised if Laurel throws in Cara. She just doesn’t want any competition.. Laurel is just annoying. She’s so emotional and not logical at all. I was proud of Cara articulating herself without coming off as “whiny,” which is what the haters love to call her.
Did Leroy seriously call himself and Aneesa the best players who never won??? Dude, no. 😂😂😂
