- The Challenge 40: BATTLE OF THE ERAS has FINALLY BEEN ANNOUNCED! The Challenge season 40 cast photos have been released! Premiere date is AUG 14th at 8PM ET (with an ep0 happening on AUG 7th). In this video I go over all the players, finalists, champs, and players looking to be the BEST OF THE BEST!
I mean this cast looks incredible from Cara Maria, CT, Johnny Bananas, Jordan Wiseley, etc.

Era 1: Players who debuted on The Challenge between S1-S10
Era 2: Player who debuted on The Challenge between S11-S20
Era 3: Players who debuted on The Challenge between S21-30
Era 4: Players who debuted on The Challenge between S31-S40

Thank you for this video. Eras 1-3 are top notch casting. I think Era 4 should have included some people from USA and World Championship. It would been nice to see Desi, Chris, Troy, Kiki, Kaz, Tristan, and Danny there as well as Justine, Zara, and Michaela. Kyland is there, so why not?

This is probably the best cast we’ve ever had. No lies. It’s dynamic, multi eras, big personalities, diverse and balanced. We have the OGs mixed in with the best of the newbies.
This Season already is going to be monumental just from the casting decisions alone but I'm really hoping that production can surpass all the doubts and worries that I have because we know they haven't been the best lately with game mechanics!
Same! Production needs to listen to the fans to keep the show thriving.
My expectations are low for production but im just praying and wishing that they allow the season to have a female winner and a male winner! Thats all i’m really begging for tbh.
If they would have put Marlon, Ashley, and Wes on this cast it would have taken it from an B+ to an A+

This is probably the best cast photo they've taken in a while! Also this editing/information breakdown is amazing! Love the review/recaps of each player before every season begins! Not all heroes wear capes but you certainly are the hero for these videos!
Maybe an unpopular opinion but I'm so excited to see Cara and Jordan on a season together again. They haven't had the best history with eachother but they are undoubtedly two of the most decorated Challengers of all time. I'm excited to see them dominate the competition.

I mean if Paulie gets along with Jordan than surely Cara Maria can get along with Jordan. I think the biggest problem between them was Tori in WotW2
I’m cool as long as Jordan isn’t a complete ass to Cara. He owes her an apology after discrediting her success and completely ripping into her at the Vendettas reunion. A season she won making her the first Solo winner EVER!! She has more than earned her flowers and Jordan just refuses to give them. Cara is a better a person than I am, i guess. Because, I can’t respect someone as a competitor or person with the crap things he’s said about/to Cara.

Agreed he’s my favorite ginger 😂 but I think he meant what he said when he said he was gonna retire. Unlike Bananas and Leroy, no disrespect intended. But, I think Wes is really enjoying life as a dad and doesn’t wanna be away from his family right now. Hope he does come back for at least one more eventually tho.

So many legends and so many viable winner outcomes fans could be satisfied with
Physical 100 is a great challenge show on Netflix. Instantly one of my favorites. The challenge needs to focus on the challenges and less on the drama. The competition is the most important. This cast is amazing
Nah drama was always a main part the show...it recently has been shown that the show needs BOTH good drama and challenges.
I think this is the best cast in Challenge history. I'm most excited for the Bananas/CT/Jordan showdown for GOAT status on the men's side if one of them wins, as well as Jenny getting her long overdue opportunity to defend her title.
If bananas wins then everybody has to give him his due respect despite the win percentage. If CT wins then no one can say anything about the shape of his body. If Jordan wins then well that's pretty much it, everyone knows he's excellent a competitor. DUDE THEY SHOULD HAVE A 3 WAY ELIMINATION.

This is a really stacked up season. But I’m always going to be rooting for those who have never won. My fellow underdogs.
I’m not rooting for a particular era per se (because there’s people in each I don’t care for). However..I am rooting for Cara Maria of course!! Unfortunately she’s with Laurel and Bananas 🤮so if Cara Maria is eliminated (which I’m sure would be because of Laurel and Johnny plotting against her) I’m also rooting for Horacio! Would also like to see Kyland and Nurys be champs if not Cara or Horacio.
Would love to see CT and Emily win! And I would also love to see Wes in the cast! Can't wait to start!!!

ERA 1 is so iconic that none of us would be surprised if both the male and female winner came from this group! I will be rooting for them mostly.
The cast is one of the best we have had in a long time, and the truth is, I can't wait to see the new season🎉🎉

I am soooo excited for this season!! Drew, when I saw your video come up on TH-cam I literally said out loud yes!! If anything you reviews are also the best 🙌🏽 since I’ve been watching the challenge since day one I have a big soft spot for the OG! Of course followed by the Trailblazers (era ✌️) 💜💜
Era 2 women and Era 1 men are definitely the strongest teams. Bananas should be on easy street considering the other Era 2 men consists of Nehemiah, Brandon, Derek C, and Ryan. Wes was a huge absence on that team.
While the Era 1 Guys are Legends, with the recent showings by Brad and Darrell in S38, S39 and AS4, I think the Era 3 Guys are stronger overall.

@@tcott14 Tony wasn’t exactly killing it in As4 before he left either. they could’ve subbed in Landon for Brad on Era1 mens and chewed up era 3. Era 3 men’s would be better with Zach instead of Devin or Tony though.

There are so many lines of connections that there should be more than enough interactions for the cast to carry us through all the episodes. The season shouldn’t feel drawn out at all
I haven’t seen the spinoffs but if I remember correctly I think Avery and Nia are actually good friends now? Again could be totally wrong but I swear I remember them being friends after exes 2

This cast looks epic! Era 1 has my heart, but Eras 2 and 3 also are pretty stacked. I’m less familiar with Era 4 since I haven’t really kept up recently and mostly know them for their non-challenge shows but I’m excited to see them compete!
I only like Theo he was paired with Cara a few years ago
Omg! Could this season actually be the season where Cara has more friends than enemies. With everything that came out after AS4 and what cast mates have said. I’m optimistic. Plus, Nurys has commented that she wants to play with Cara if they are ever on a season together. Laurel and Michele I see how they could have a difficult season. 😂

There's a chance for this season to be the best one ever !!! Unfortunately I have no faith in production to not F this up for the fan's. They(the producers) should just make this a team season all the way to the end as a call back to the classic challenge seasons.

Eras 3: I am ok with this one I am more excited about the first 2 but it's still is impressive with a bunch from finals in there seasons

I like your comment about keeping things simple!! I miss the older format of the challenge were they would play, vote, elimination. And there was less secrets, you had to put your money where your mouth was and prove it or get sent home. I understand why they do it, to keep the show interesting, but enough of the stars or skulls and twists just play!!! Great video!

I haven’t been crazy about the challenge in a few years, but I’m definitely watching this season. Some serious heavy hitters, era 1 look stacked. I can’t wait, I’m surprised Wes not on this one.

This is a great cast! Just hoping for good formate, OG eliminations, and maybe male and female winners. Yeah you don’t have Wes, Kam, or Rogan. But you have a great range of cast members that represent each era and an entire show from start to now. This is how I wanted Survivor 40 cast to be like, wide range from each era. So excited for season 40! It’s hard to choose a favorite. Most likely will root for the OG era 1 but I’ll pick from each era.

Era 1: underdogs but tons of experience. Era 2: LEGENDS but personalities will clash. Era 3: unpredictable , might need to shave some fat first Era 4: misfit bandits that got stuck together lololol, go Horacioooo
Before next season you should rank the best finals and maybe even do the best eliminations which I'm sure would be a more daunting task but would be cool to see.

Bro, era 4 is kinda stacked especially since Kyland, Nurys and Horacio really put on a damn show last season. Then you add Kaycee, Olivia, Theo, Paulie, Josh who’s been more focused. MAN 🔥. Knocked it put the park with era 4. Era 2 and 4 ard really nice, but all eras really have dope ass squads!
