I don’t mind that much if Lego keeps up the course/digital figure Mario sets, I just feel like 1 good sized 18+ set with all the main characters as minifigures would work out
I will say, I’m glad Lego is doing more video game sets outside of Minecraft & Nintendo which I don’t really care about that much. I’m excited for potential physical Fortnite sets in the future & I really like the point you bring up at the end where these IPs at the very least bring new useful pieces we wouldn’t get normally. For example, I’m not at all interested in the Lego Mario sets at all but that theme has done an excellent job of making pieces in new colors we wouldn’t get otherwise like black Wolverine claws, clear lightsaber blades, & the SCCBS pieces in regular blue just to name a few.
Lego video game sets are awesome There needs to be Mario minifigure sets, there should be mario kart and mario galaxy sets etc. Sets should be based off the games itself Looking forward a lot to Zelda TOTK sets, I hope it becomes a theme
Id love to get some just random one off 18+ dioramas of games. Probably our only way to get sets off of certain games like chrono trigger, earthbound, or xenoblade.
I see that you see the potential here with those sets. The Tallneck had acclaim just for looking fresh and beautiful. Stuff from any of those games can absolutely have the same impact it did.
There are a lot of video games I want to see in LEGO form, but I doubt any of them will happen, unless they're a Nintendo property. Among the third-party franchises include Mega Man (you've talked about the problems with that in a previous video), Castlevania (has progressively gotten too vulgar), Final Fantasy VII (mainly for Cloud and Sephiroth), a minifigure version of Pac-Man (if what I've heard about Bandai-Namco is anything to go off of, the arcade cabinet was one and done) and several indie games which would be lucky to get a LEGO Ideas set (Shovel Knight, Undertale, Hollow Knight, Ori and the Blind Forests/Will of the Wisps and Shantae, the least likely of them all). For Nintendo, it largely boils down to as many of the franchises in Smash as possible, though I don't think all of them will get or need a theme of their own. I feel like the bigger franchises (Mario, Zelda, Animal Crossing, Metroid, Pikmin and Splatoon) would get their own themes while we could also get a CMF series (or better yet a full blown blanket Super Smash Bros. theme) that covers the lesser ones (Star Fox, F-Zero, Earthbound, Kid Icarus, Punch-Out, ARMS and (assuming Nintendo owns enough of it) Golden Sun).
Something I feel we underestimate with LEGO, is that they could do just one single set for any of those smaller Nintendo franchises, and call it good. Just one nice set with the necessary minifigs and you're good. Now, should they wait for the next Star Fox and do and Arwing, Landmaster, Wolfen, and Great Fox as a one wave and done? Yeah. Could do the same with Kid Icarus honestly (but, somehow, that feels even more unlikely). Crazy time with lots of options.
I wouldn't be surprised if lego right out of the blue announces lego sets for paper mario the thousand year door to coincide with the release of the remake for the switch. That would be sick, in a good way of course.
Going back and seeing how they didn't do that for Mario Wonder, or even the Mario Movie, I'm not too sure that'll happen. Getting the partners in LEGO-form would be amazing tho.
@@PenPlays I am not saying they are going to do it, but it would still be awesome. I can imagine the biggest set being mario vs the shadow queen where she is a giant curved brick built figure with possessed peach inside.
Honestly I would absolutely love a Lego halo warthog done in the same scale as the icons cars, a bit like the Dune ornithopter. We absolutely NEED Lego Halo at some point.
@@PenPlays agreed! Unfortunately I would think that mini figure scale sets would be difficult with the alien designs, human-proportion based vehicles (warthog) and need for guns, but I can see an ICONS car warthog set or a helmet set of master chief.

Man your content is great! Keep making these detailed videos or niche topics
Thank you. I appreciate the kind words.
This is before Lego Zelda too!
I know it has a pretty low chance of happening, but I'd love a couple of LEGO Apex Legends battle packs
Lego should make the divine beasts
Well Zelda Lego now exists so keep your eyes open!
If lego is making fortnite sets... then they should make something for Rocket League
Please! That’d be just as appealing for a LEGO set. I agree
@@PenPlays Yeah! I would love to see the Iconic Octane Car made at a big scale!

My heart would not take a mechonis and bionis diorama
@@user-hp6jn8zj7b I’d love something to represent the world tree and the titans from x2.
Come on Lego... where's my Resident Evil sets???
I just realized the light year space ship wind screen is perfect for a Lego blue falcon
C'mon Splatoon, I'm praying for you 🙏 I would do anything for some idol minifiures!
That’s the dream!!
Once I get Isabelle, I will give her a firearm that she will use to fight off hordes of demons alongside the Doom guy
I know even child me would be disappointed by the Sonic and Mario sets, really hope they improve and can’t wait for Zelda!!
I can’t wait until we get Lego Fortnite sets!

Give us the tornado x from sonic X please
Okay NOW you're speaking my language. If it can transform, I'm so there.
Not gonna happen

LEGO Halo would rock. Since MEGA has the license, that's not gonna happen any time soon, but I do see the vision!

Good video 10/10
Thank you!
Not even a mention of Overwatch?
No, sadly. LEGO has been pretty clear that, at least rn, LEGO Overwatch is not a part of their video game theme future.
You give the video that you think Sonic games are better than Mario games 🫢🤡🤣
Yeah because they are
