Hello, Thanks for your helpful training. I did it by myself with help of watching your training videos. I have a question more, I in United States with B2 visa and my expiration date is 3 Feb 2024. After I file my asylum application, do I need to apply for extend my visa or can I stay in the country without extending my visa ?
I don’t really see any benefit in seeking to extend your tourist status. When you apply for asylum, you get a letter saying that you have permission to remain here while your case is pending. Happy to discuss if you’d like:. winasylum.com

And onther question: when my husdand applied in 1990 for asylum in another country and got approved but later then get cancelled asylum because he had problems with driver licence and insurance. I am not sure which box I should check because on her I 94, they say" you are ordered to appear before an immigration judge of the United States department of Justice at a certain address on March 18, 2026. I didn't know she needed to apply within a year of being here. Now it's almost a year. Please let me know which box I should check on question 18?
