  • Unlimited Power for your Van, Small RV, or Tiny House. In this video I show you some tips and tricks for setting up a battery backup system in your small space, using an ECOFLOW Delta 2 and a tiny propane generator. I'll cover the special setting in the ECOFLOW unit that lets you control the charging power, allowing for a more portable solar battery set up for your van, RV or hunting cabin. This would also be an excellent set up for apartment dwellers who need to keep the coffee maker and refrigerator running during a blackout. Who knows, it could even work for a long-term SHTF scenario!
Sorry about the "ticking" sound in the background. My plastic mic was hitting my plastic zipper and I didn't notice the sound until after I uploaded the video.
This video has a short post on my Blog! odysseycamper....

Hey, Darren, Somehow you always address the questions that are spinning around in my head! I have a Bluetti AC70 to run my fridge in my minivan camper. It's the heaviest weight I'm willing to lift. It has a short cord to recharge from the van, so I have to leave that battery on the passenger side floor where it takes up foot space. I was looking for an extension cord and there you are with the cord I need, and also how to step up the power coming out of my car. Yay! Many thanks! Of course, you also have me thinking about the other things you brought up in the video... And- I love your music choices!

Thanks for the video. I always find some useful info I didn't know before and generally act on the new info (ie. I got myself the Nuwave induction cooktop after your Cooking video). Anyway, I was already thinking about creating dual options with solar and propane generator/inverter to charge a battery power storage system for my minivan build -- but doing the same for the home is actually a better idea. "Options" is the foundation for eventual SHTF and my current observation of our nation in decline.

You’re right about that. Always good to have backups and fall back plans. Thanks for watching and adding your thoughts!

I have the eco flow 3600 max in my van and I don’t regret it I feel like I should be on TH-cam just because I’ve watched a lot of videos and I find a lot of van camping videos lacking

Do it! There are people out there that will appreciate the help and we all learn in different ways. Some people will like the way I address things and others will want to hear someone else. Let me know when your first video is up and I’ll share it with my audience. In the meantime, thanks for watching MY channel!

I have that EcoFlow for an off grid camper build, great unit, I would definitely buy it again but it will not run my diesel heater 😢. Awesome unit tho!

Thanks for commenting and sharing that! I’m a little surprised, I would not have thought the diesel heater would pull that much current. Good info! Thanks for watching!

@@OdysseyCamper Yea! Have fun. We're headed to the Adirondacks. This will be my first and only Total Eclipse. I've learned so much from your videos. You are a good teacher. I bought my Diehard 1150 a couple of years ago because of your explanations. It's packed in the minivan and ready for the roadtrip!
