When the Dodge Polara was the standard police car he already had 20 years in service. When the Crown Victoria became the standard he would have 40 years. Amazing!
Wore the same hat since 1953. That is a level of dedication we all strive for yet very few can even dream to sustain. His integrity was unmatched. Bless him. May he rest in GLORY!

Sounds funny 🤣 Congratulations for both of these men for their service, most people are thinking about retirement around the age of 65-70. Most people go home and are bored out of their mind, die of just being alone. Working keeps your mind sharp, interacting with people. Some people don't even get to see these guys age While working.

I can remember back when. I can remember when the police stations didn't have bullet resistant glass. I can remember when the deputies were up in their 80's. Wear their ike jackets to work. Carried revolvers.

He's only doing that because he's in a smaller town. If he wasn't a major Metropolitan town he'll be long gone already and retired😮 so old to be play Cops and robbers at old age like that. He obviously didn't have nothing more to expand his life on because he kept loving what he did for work.
