I saw a story about him a couple years ago.. What a cop should be. Many in the field (especially the rookies) should learn from his attitude and career. This man honored and loved his job!!! RIP BUCKSHOT!!!!🙏
Sadly the hiring requirements have been lowered to get folks hired. So the quality may go down. Plus its a calling ,that not all are called to do. Thank you for your service and your example, not only as an officer, but what a man is. My condolences to his family, friends and fellow officers. I have no doubt that when he opened his eyes in Heaven, the first words he heard were, "Well done, my good and faithful servant".

I believe had he stayed on he would still be alive. People would be surprised how our mind works. When we have nothing to strive for, everything starts winding down. And law enforcement was his passion. It kept him going even through illnesses I'm sure he had. No one drives in their 90s anymore. That is very rare. But I'm sure God will use him in whatever capacity he deems. Godspeed Buckshot.

He reminds me of Michael Caine, he's starred in a lot of movies for at least sixty years, and he was even one of the many children evacuated from England and sent to the United States during World War 2, Michael Caine loved acting, and has done it his entire life and finally retired at the age of 90, because his physical mobility has diminished so much.

He made national news for this. He was STILL driving at 91
I believe he retired last year.
