Thank you for this video!!! Just got my gel x done in a salon two days ago and since yesterday they have been popping off . MIND YOU THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO LAST AT LEAST TWO WEEKS !!!??? Not to mention, I waited diamonds or jewels on my nails and the salon said they didn’t do that 😒

Yes! DIY! Since the panini, I been doing my own gel-x extensions and they last at minimum, 4 weeks! I do my lil sisters too and the same for her. My crystals and charms last that long as well. I am never going back to the salons!
I love the fact you that you give tips. I have been trying to figure out how use chrome because it would stick to my matte top coat every time.

I love this design and the way you explain each step so calmly and clearly is just amazing🌟💅🏻 I usually use tips because I wasn’t sure about the process or longevity of applying a full nail. I’m guessing they have to be gel though 🤷🏻♀️ I love any layering designs, yes they take a bit longer but it’s worth the end result. I really appreciate you taking the time to do these and talk us through the process. I’m doing my nails today so this might be the design I try. I’m certainly subscribing 😉💖👏🏻🇬🇧

I thought not buffing the extension would chipping??? Meaning, you applied the base coat on the smooth extension. This set is beautiful!
It depends on the brand. I never have an issue with chipping with these or the ones from Apres.
I like to test everything out before not applying a base coat though. 💕

So, I believe you mentioned that you could use alcohol inks at some points instead of, as an example, using the white polish and then adding the alcohol to add the fine lines, making it look like cracks in the marble. So, could you use alcohol inks instead of the white polish/alcohol and if you did would that change the process you followed in the video?
Thank you! So yes, alcohol inks could be used instead of dipping the white polish in alcohol. The process wouldn't change at all just the products used 💕
Could you please explain what you mean by sealing the cuticle with acetone and a flat brush? Great video! New subscriber now 🙆🏾♀️🤗
Yes sure! What I like to do is take a brush dipped in acetone and rub the brush back and forth around the cuticle area so the gel extension starts to melt just a little bit.
