Once you get into a schedule and know more about where things are etc college gets way easier. I am from CA and didn’t know anyone when I went to IU and was way stressed. Just keep going to classes and doing homework. If you didn’t know already, the dining hall in the library is the best place to eat on campus, next is forest. I can’t wait to see more - I was a media school major and it’s fun to see your experience! You should do a Q&A bc it’s not super common that CA people go to IU for anything except Kelley
Don’t worry it’ll take you a few weeks but you’ll definitely get situated!! I always missed my fam when I was away and I was only an hour or so... I give you major props for being so far . You’re a champ!

It gets much easier. Give it like a month. You will be so settled and happy. I graduated in 2015 and I miss it all the time. It DOES get easier and better. :)
Idk if you have your classes 2 hours or even 1 hour apart or more but my sis is in college and whenever she finished her first class she'd have 2 hours or 1 hour to go to her next so she'd just finish the hw right away and then be ready for hw at her next class it's really stress free! Hope this works for you.
