Toriyama..may you find peace, while we who still linger will forever remember your amazing gift to the art and gaming world. Your footprints in games like Dragon Quest, Chrono Trigger, and your stories in Dragon Ball amongst others will forever hold a place in all our hearts. Damn....this game is going on 29 years since I played it when I was 15...I wish Square and most game companies would make amazing masterpieces like Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy 1-7, and Secret of Mana again. Seems to be a lost art and a lost age now with how modern Square/Enix and the gaming industry as a whole is. I'm going to go cry now as I listen to these amazing scores...such great memories.

Brings me right back to 1995 when I ran to my local electronics store to pick up the game on release day. God, brings back such bitter sweet memories knowing that I experienced them but I've long passed them with the passing of time. What a great game and OST, hands down one of my favorite games.

Such an amazing game and soundtrack. It was a huge huge inspiration for a game my brother and I created way back in high school with our teacher, based on a comic we created as children. There was no time travel, only travel to 3 different planets, a massive space city and derelict starship. In 2011 when our friend who had been working with us, passed away during the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami, we had changed the name of the ship to "Starwind". He was obsessed with Outlaw Star, and liked the character Gene Starwind. The main character born as KD7302-Kydan, was part human and of an alien race called the Zayinn, who were constructs of a primordial alien race, the Zeta-Cial, to be weapons. He was slightly inspired by Flash Gordon, because our grandparents loved that show as kids and is named Einar, when he is adopted on Earth. While there are serious even dark themes in the story, there is some humor.. Not Disney humor as I call it lol. It is somewhat jokingly implied that his mother is kind of like Samus Aran from Metroid, and his father (the man who adopts him) Star Lord, from Guardians of the Galaxy. We were inspired to add that joke in, because of an old anime we watched as kids called "Project A-Ko", where it is implied her parents are Superman and Wonder Woman. We grew up reading the Guardians of the Galaxy comics (we like space stuff), and they weren't very popular at all. Einar is a former soldier, trying to start a "hero for hire" sort of business. But it is difficult since most within numerous galaxies, do not like or trust Zayinn. He is also the lead vocalist/guitarist of what is known as a Strife Metal Band called "Star Rekkr".. There is lore behind this style of Metal and his secondary weapon, was actually fashioned as a guitar he names "Violent Resonance" lol... Currently remaking both the comic and game, we called "Armament of Volition".
We are gathered here today to honor Toriyama. May you rest easy and go softly into that eternal sleep. Thank you for everything. I'll be honoring your work until the day finally comes where I die as well. Until then. I'll be searching for the Chrono Trigger.

Composed by both Yasunori Mitsuda and Nobuo Uematsu. Please, acknowledge the composers. very important in these weird times where people steal other eople's work with AI bullshit.
I love it when you call me Big Gato, all the honeys in the ghetto know where the party's at, oh you didn't know I was pr7grammed with the flow, of a super star stallion African American gangsta at large, with massive lengths, taken to enhance my auditory, hallucinatinogenic, cosmogenocidal, Chrono Trigger rap-athon, brotha... Now put that nekro on his back and tell it Gato says RATTATAT TAT!
Unpopular opinion time: singing mountain is mediocre and they were right to sideline it because every other thing on the soundtrack is fucking banging.

Not a bad take sir
