I am a pediatric PT in the US. I have assisted families in getting wheelchairs for their children for several years . When this chair arrived in our region the ATP work I work with and I tried it with two children. Sadly these families have had many problems with the wheelchair. I would not recommend it to anyone. I was surprised that a product made by Permobil was made so poorly, typically their products are well engineered and durable.
Come on now...with each growth spurt is not a simple adjustment. New parts are going to be required. For instance the depth changes. That is going to come with needing new side guards...and new wheels....possibly new brakes. Also, those castors are horrible. Obviously new caster forks are going to be needed when those are changed for wider wheels. I mean come on.
