Hey it’s so awesome to see Jacob back doing his own review instead of being the camera man lol I love both Matt and Jacob! Best car reviewers in my opinion!
I gotta say that obvii id take the Hyundai over the Kia, but at the end of the day, these cars just arentttt good enough anymore. I bought my Haval Jolion Ultra 2024 this year for 32 drive away, and then got the dashcam, paint protection amd tinted windows for an extra 3k. Over this Hyundai, i have every safety feature you can think of, alot more room, alot of soft touch materials, a better touch screen, a better digital instrument cluster, LED lights EVERYWHERE (except the vanity mirror lights 😭) and a much faster and more powerful engine. You'd be stupid to go for thr Hyundai or the Kia at this price point, when you can get so much more for your money
Guys to advertise that you don’t charge anything for your car buying service is wrong. You charge the dealer a fixed fee (or Motorscout does) and when they price up the car for the end user they factor in that fee into the pricing. So indirectly there is a fee charged
Great video, I have the i20 that is nearly 3yrs old with 65k km on it and the Hyundai dealership are offering me to "swap" to the venue, what are your thoughts?
That's the old version I'm in South Africa have the 1litre turbo 7 speed dual clutch automatic the car drives like a dream its very fast I must say and my front grill is updated also have led lights all round no halogen lights at all.Great fuel saver car I love only wish it had the sunroof on this one
Oh thank you for this comment. I was an idiot who thought saving $2000 on my Volkswagen T-cross was smart, so I got the base model and my CarPlay needs a cable and I can’t tell you how annoying it is having to connect or disconnect the phone to the cable EVERY time I get in and out of the car. I’ll give the usb dongle a go and if anyone is reading this, don’t be like me - spend the extra $!
Omg Daddy Jacob is mini me Matt! Doing a good job mimicking Matt “all righty..” Do you work out Jacob those guns look impressive… back to the review..good job! 👍🏻
Hyundai makes the most polarizing looking cars ugly as venue and beautiful as ionic 5 but it is super reliable good power a shit ton of features for the price so yeah it is a thumbs up better than Chinese counterpart
Firstly not having Matt is noticable but I get it, its still a good review of this car. A couple of things though, the Chery Omoda 5 and Mitsubishi ASX dont really fit as comprables as size wise they are in a class above, but it does go to show Hyundai is taking the piss on how this thing is priced. A vehicle that was left out however was the Suzuki Vitara whick starts at 30k(lets face it the Venue at 25k is the spec people dont buy anyway because of how bare it is) and has more to offer in the fuel effeciency(Hyundai group engines love to drink especially that 2l petrol they put in thier larger cars),practicality(bigger boot with more things in there light a light ,12v socket and dividers at the sides and features(no wireless Android Auto but you dont get a wireless charging pad so thats a win). I can personally attest that ther engine and torque converter in the Vitara makes the car more engaging to drive and its very fuel efficient.
This is gonna take some getting used to😂. Ik uve doke reviews by yourself b4 Jacob but ut was a little disorientating to not have the video start with "Heyyyyyyyy...(Slams door).....Jacob🤣"
Honestly, I don’t see value in higher trims for Venue. With very similar money you can get Kona, which is overall better. I’d like to see a most basic version review
We bought this for my dad who is semi retired for the suv height. His legs aren't as good so higher is better for him. The car is alright. Biggest issue is the engine. It's absolutely trash. It should have been a 1.6 turbo. Not just 1.6. Very underpowered. I told him this but he said it's fine. Now he complains that it has no go. He was coming from a suzuki swift turbo. Otherwise it's a good little thing to park in the garage and has all that's needed for a gentlemen over 65.
@@paolamarchena1486 vitara is a very old design. It’s mostly reliable but feels cheaply made. The venue is a newer design, but it’s nothing fancy either. I think the venue is cheaper than the Suzuki. I wouldn’t buy either unless I found a very cheap price
its cute until you have to drop the seats to load something in there on the fly,you have nowhere to put it. The Suzuki Vitara has a better solution, you can put it under the false floor.
it is NOT A SUV!!! Its a CUV....SUV's AT MINIMUM are AWD or 4WD...this is not....also LED's arnt the end all be all bud...shur they look nice but when they go that entire assenbly will need to be replaced at a VERY high price tag compared to halogen...im talking LED 3-500 bucks and halogen like 5 bucks
not going to talk about that suv comment, doesnt matter. LED are proven to give off more light plus they give off white light which is way better in pitch darkness. Also LED bulbs arent expensive, you can swap out the halogens for leds easy if the manufacturer wasnt an ass about getting in the headlight housing.
Is this guy testing ,or selling This Car ? Hundais. Used to be Cheap ,25,000 for a Dinkshit underpowered ,and Questionable transmission Car ,I,ll buy a Used something Much Nicer .for the Same Price :
The Venue should be A$5000 cheaper for all trims. Way way overpriced for a 1.6 litre engine . No leather seats..no full size spare tyre...no rear air vents..no rear usb ports..no led head lights..no satnav..no DAB radio... maybe make it 20cm taller..20cm wider and 20cm longer. put a 2 litre engine..get rid of the 2 tone colour and the sunroof.
Far too expensive for a small box. Plus what is wrong with halogen lights? LEDs are more expensive to replace but I suppose that is where these car companies make their money.
This is an older venue, the venue in Asia is the updated one with 360 camera, connected tail lamp and led lights.
360 is not available
It’s not old .. hyundai provides the best feature in Indian market. That’s their thing
Its only available in India cause in India even cheaper cars from hyundai are overloaded with features

Daddy Jacob did an amazing job of presenting this video 👍👍
That sound guide’s a good addition!
Great review Jacob, well dome !!

This is a good car for the elderly who are metropolitan based.
decent car for the money ... for wireless carplay just get a $30 usb dongle and it will transform the carplay to wireless.

They sell this with their very good CVT in the US (makes it noticeably quicker). I wonder why they sell it with the 6 speed auto in Australia?
Just here for the Jacob content 👏

Good one Jacob, if you are saying this feels under powered, then how it will be on Mazda cx-5 2 litre base model.
Very happy with my new Venue.
Hyundai makes the most polarizing looking cars ugly as venue and beautiful as ionic 5 but it is super reliable good power a shit ton of features for the price so yeah it is a thumbs up better than Chinese counterpart
Bought this is the entry model and it's not bad. I really hate the lane assist though. You have to turn it off every time you drive.

I wonder if this and maybe other reviews were done while Matt was off in China for ZEEKR🤔
While the Matt's away...@@ezy.from.now.on.
This venue is different from the venue in australia, as the rear js different
Is there much speed enforcement on these roads on the Peninsular?

Swift turbo to a venue is like going from a horse to a donkey. And then complaining
@@superwag634and What about the venue between the vitara 🤔

Newer venue looks way better xD
That way to fold the cargo cover against the back of the seats genuinely blew my mind😐. I've never seen that in a car before.

@@mindfreeze0838you can put it in the footwell behind the front seats it's not that difficult
In India we already got venue facelift
For me, I'd pass on any car that didn't offer as many safety features as other makes
Daddy Jacob 🎉🎉🎉
Daddy Jacob with the aaaalrightysss
35k AUD drive away, I would rather buy an used prado or higher grade suv
August 15 new launch ❤ . Mahindra 4x4 ROXX Armada 5 door 😊 come to India.😊
worth?
Ground clearance seems quite small.
If I had $50 for every time he said Alrighty guys I could just about do my regular fortnightly shop !
so expensive, In South Africa its about $2000 cheaper
So many people say it the wrong way all the time. Sunroof is solid panel mostly was on cars in the 90s. Moonroof is made of glass panel.
Well done Daddy Jacob, good bit of charisma and some good insights. :)
Would definitely prefer that to a gross Chinese suv.
I drive an LDV d90 and it's perfectly fine.
My omoda comes with so much more than this. It doesn't feel cheap. The venue looks like it would feel cheap.
only a paid sh!ll would make such comment lmfao
Crossovers with that little tire sidewall is an objectively stupid choice.
Matt has changed. What's going on?

Zero interest in this car. Legit just watching cause Jacob is a legend.

Matt got some cosmetic surgery when he was in China!
A car made for people who have absolutely zero interest in what car they drive.
Aside from that, welcome Daddy Jacob.
Did you like it, Daddy?
“High yun die”
Canadas irs much difd
This car is not approved 😂
Hyundai should sell the venue in Malaysia. If it's available in Singapore, why not in Malaysia?
