Here in 2023 and will be a first timer in the forest this year! I'm coming from Florida and was have been super anxious and lost about figuring out the logistics of flying, but I think I may actually just make the 20 hour drive and make a little adventure out of it :)
Another good packing hack is to use roll up compression seal bags!!! Use them for your clothes /blankets/towels/tapestries/pashminas because it condenses like 80% of your suitcase space and you don’t need electricity to use them!
can't stress enough bringing at least 3 pairs of shoes to camping festivals. garunteed one or more will get covered in mud you won't be able to get off there so want some you can wear comfortably. this goes without saying a ridiculous amount of socks
Im coming from Florida. I rented ( from Outdoorsy) a killer Leisure Travel Serenity B+ from Chicago and driving it over for some GA RV madness. Your vids have helped quite a bit for what to expect so thanks for the info.
for some larger items yes or just hope you have someone in your group that already has one that isn't flying. At the end of the festival we'll donate it or give it to fellow forest fam so we don't leave any trace behind.

yasss island noodles!! that's a good call, I remember my ex and I went to the shuttles around that same time and noticed how dead it was and we saw some people leaving definitely a good move if you're alive
I rented a mini van last year Bc we had a decent sized group. It ended up being cheaper per day than a SUV! Might consider looking into one if you’re gonna need space to hold everyone’s things😊this vid is great (your vid last year really helped me for my first forest so THANK U)
Do you know someone who has traveled to EF internationally? It is my absolute dream festival but I would be travelling from Europe. I imagine that is a much bigger investment and a logistical challenge...

I haven't! Definitely would be an investment but I think it could be doable just will require extra planning and time!
