Congratulations on graduating! A college degree is a great thing to have under your belt. Especially in this age with technology accelerating at such a rapid pace in AG and the world. Well done!
Congratulations on graduating. Don’t be weirded out by it. It’s just the end of another chapter of many in your life. And the start of something great, yet to be seen. Happy farming!
Congrats on school finishing. My son has another year on his second cert. I hope your education does you well. Your home farm education is awesome. I would definitely check fuel and air filters on the 7020. It usually is the low power problem on diesels. It is awesome to see you work out electrical and other issues on your tractors. You are becoming a well rounded farmer. God Bless you and your family.
The 1971 7020s were a little different from the 72s. I think the side console was different and so were the lights but beyond that I’m not sure. Mine is almost perfectly paired with the 20 foot disk, but could pull a 22 or 24 most of the time
I was searching the Fakebook marketplace for old tractors and came across a 4020 gasser that you have for sale, maybe you could show us more about it- ❤ those old John Deere tractors!
I'm guessing the 7020 started to puke when you got to 1/4 or 1/2 full in your tank. How old is the diesel in it? I'm guessing algae in the tank. Be sure to always have a spare filter with you. If so, it's a PIA.
The gas tractors had two six volts in series to make 12. The diesels had four six volt batteries in series to make 24. It’s easy to put two 12s in but to convert the whole thing to 12v negative ground would cost 1200 or more
Hows the 7520? Duffy said you bought it. and congrats on graduation college that means more farming videos. also you wanna show us your farm toys that were behind you. on the 7020 i believe their is a screen at the injection pump clean that our too it is in a glass bowl. The 7520 has one for sure
Bucket mouth Duffy you mean? You know, the one who thinks corn drys this time of year 😂 some of the 20 series have that screen but most all of them have been converted to an in-line filter. It’s probably just a fuel filter, especially with it gradually loosing power.

That’s my attitude now. Gotta keep moving forward!
Congratulations on graduating and may you and your family have a Merry Christmas.
Congrats on graduating! You will always remember your experiences at the University. Happy Holidays...
I’ll never forget it what I did and learned. I would definitely do it again
Congratulations on graduating college! Enjoyed watching! Merry Christmas!
Thank you. It was a 10/10 experience

Thank you. I checked the air filter first, and then the fuel filter. It ended up being the fuel filter

Chase when I put in a alternator I use a inline 30 amp fuse and test alt output with multi meter.
Hey, love the 7020! I’m running a 1971 here in South Dakota. Been working it disking sod with a 14’ miller offset. Does really well with it!

Get that on video man!
Thats the same combo as what you had up at the half century, its still looking good.
Yes sir it is. The 4320 doesn’t pull the disk nearly as well as the 7020
Now the biggest test of all… life chooses wisely 👍
Enjoy your video! Mike from Missouri
Thanks for watching
Congrats on graduating
Hey just wondering can you do a antique farm a equipment as of 2024
Congratulations
Thank you!
Where you guys at from Hannibal. We haul milk thru there on 36 about 6 times a week to columbia
We are west of hannibal along highway 24. You drive right past some of our ground if you’re on 36

I think he bought a 7520 too
@@O.KFarmToysdeutzallis6275- I heard that on Duffy AG also
I can’t talk about it just yet….
Congratulations for finishing college
You’ll no longer have to say goodbye to the dog and cat😂,

All of the diesel is new. I’ve burnt a few tanks over the 60 hours I’ve put on it. I found the problem and I’ll elaborate on it in the next video
👍
The old 720 we had only had a 12 volt electrical system (2 - 6 volt batteries). Was the 730 originally 24 volt? Your grounding is bad.
There were a few different set ups, and who knows how people modified them. Many had a 12v system with 2x12v batteries, and a 24v starter.

Wow didn't know they needed that much power to start. I would hope the 12v conversion was gold plated for that price.
When you’re ready to sell the 730 let me know. See if I am in a position to purchase when you’re ready to sell.
now is when reality sets in, good luck
Reality set in when I saw my buddies walk across the stage and get their degrees. It’s time to do life I guess
Some 30.5x32 23° radial singles would look and ride good on ole 7020. I know them row crop singles rock u to death
It’s your grounding wire you need to ground it to the tractor not the seat
That’s what I ended up doing. It doesn’t look nice but it works
