I love their sunscreens because they are so reliable and fairly affordable in my country. Their sunscreens are among the few sunscreens that I don't tan through in summers. Unfortunately their sunscreens all sting my eyes, which is why I switched to LRP. I'm going to try this one though, if it doesn't sting my eyes I will be so happy! Edit: Kind of shocked by the price though, hope it goes down. €30 for 50ml is not in my budget at all!
Dear Ramon, if you compare this new version with other P20 options that you reviewed before - the one for kids, or others, which one is less shiny and better for oily skin?:)
I have seen the 10 hour test results for P20, they can back them up, tests done in Germany. But the brand marketers are sooooo old school, they could defintely benefit from more transparency and more investment in influencer marketing.
Hey Ramon! I’ve been using the Muji Sunscreen gel PF50+ and I’m very happy with it. It’s not matte, it leaves my very oily skin with a healthy skin like finish, but I truly love how lightweight it feels. I’ve tried many sunscreens that are "for oily skin" but this one is by far the best I’ve tried, when it comes to a water resistant formula of course. It does sting my eyes, but I also have very sensitive eyes, so ppl with resilient eyes will be fine. Also it’s very cheap for the amount of sunscreen you get. It’s a Japanese sunscreen, forgot to mention that 😅.
Great review! Just found you . I’ll be checking out more of your videos . Love that this isn’t some sponsored video where the reviewer doesn’t bring up anything negative. I wonder if that long lasting ability will make it a zit machine . I’ll be the type to break out with thick films . Bummer . Thank you so much 😊
tinosorb a2b is not used in korean sunscreens because it wasnt approved by the ministry of food and drug safety until recently! im looking forward to the korean sunscreens with tinosorb a2b
According to my experience with the P20 sensitive, there is still a slight white cast under white light (elevator). However, it is not nearly as bad as with tinosorb M. If you have a olive skin or lighter, you should be fine. Anything darker than that, I imagine it would give you a slight white cast.
As a fellow sunscreen nerd and eatechian I have tried probably 100 sunscreens😅 I am still looking for a super high uva protection that gives a matt finish. 😢
Thank you for your beautiful reviews❤. I tried the new P20 hyperpigmentation defence. It is also quite heavy but has a very high uva protection but it whitens my skin abit, and i have a light to medium skin tone. And it is also very shiny on my skin, i have a normal skin. Fortunately it doesn’t sting my eyes, i have very sensitive eyes. But i don’t like the fact that they use acrylates and copolymers, i don’t find these ingredients environment friendly. What do you think about these ingredients? I guess they are needed for making the sunscreen waterproof but still i am not sure if it is healthy for the planet…
Getting a sunscreen in my eyes is a nightmare - not because they sting, but because of that oily film you mentioned and that combined with me being a contact lense wearer... goodbye clear sight, hello neverending blinking 😅
Hi Ramon I have a question: in relation to foundation/BB CC Creams/Tinted Sunscreens with inorganic filters etc. Will these affect organic filters even after a film has set? I have tried to look online but cannot understand what type of inorganic filters affect/inactivate? organic filters? Is this a myth? I didn't see it in your sunscreen myth busting (granted you can't cover all of them, which is understandable). Thank you.
When I apply one and a half pumps of this on my face, it is extremely shiny- far from glowy. My skin is not oily in the slightest, and I don’t understand how makeup is supposed to be applied on top of this, because any makeup application with a sponge would remove some of the sunscreen, taking the shiny coat off. I don’t know how this is supposed to work, and how to not lessen the UV protection. It doesn’t seem to set or “melt in” my skin and it is extremely shiny even 10 hours after. The recommended amount seems to be a very thick layer. Is there something wrong?
Is this more "oily-skin" friendly than their other products? Or is any of their other products less emollient than this one? Or is this the best that it gets for their products?
I tried the kids and the sensitive an face one, from oiliest to les oily I would say Kids the most, then the face, then the sensitive one. Excited to try this one when it becomes available on amazon France.

i love how you explained this!! and your 7 Fs are genius. too bad its not actually dry touch and cast free
is this better than the original or the kids version one?

still uriage hyseac the most mattifying and elegant sunscreen you can ever had

So... It's like Neutrogena Sun Fresh face sunscreen?
I really don’t understand why they advertised this sunscreen as dry touch when it really isn’t. It’s a good sunscreen though.
Wait so does it mean I don’t have to reapply ???????!! With the 10hrs claim. sorry I live in the us never seen a sunscreen like this.
it's still recommended to apply. The protective film can still get worn down, but you have a little bit of insurance
I wish it was for oily skin. Ia Roche posay has that new filter. But is it good for oily skin?

I’ve tried their KIDS version and it’s incredibly tacky and shiny on the skin.
Water resistant = hard as fuck to remove. Still looking for a good sunscreen which removes without several cleanses.
I rarely have issues removing sunscreens, especially water resistant ones. This one washes off easy with a simple double cleanse for me
Once you oil cleanse first, it comes right off. Soap doesnt take waterproof sunscreens off. Oil does
