The cleanser completely changed the skin on my body. I suffer from extreme dryness, itchiness, frequent hive, outbreaks that dermatologist have not been able to figure out. I did my own research and found out my skin is not at the correct pH causing an impaired barrier and unhealthy micro biome. I have to use an exfoliating cleanser every day to correct the ph, but I still deal with dryness and this cleanser has healed my skin. I can feel not only surface level hydration, but deep into the skin layers there’s a healthiness and hydration I’ve never felt. I also absolutely love the vitamin C. I have never re-purchased a vitamin C, because I’ve never been impressed but I will definitely be purchased this again. I love the simple ingredient list, I love the correct pH and high strength, and even though I have The toughest skin in the world I do feel a slight warmth with this product which makes me happy. My skin is glowing so much. I am definitely going to check out the products for slugging because I’m not a big fan of using Vaseline.

Same! When I saw her review - I said - YEP, I ordered correctly ! I really can’t believe that I have just continued to reach for it daily. Out of all my others. It’s such a lux formula. I have dry skin and love the layering of the urea lotion then the sunscreen 🤌🏻

I just ordered a couple things and they sent a mini Gleanser, and I used it once and immediately went back to their site and ordered it, along with another moisturizer. This brand is great. She did a great job. I also am trying the vitamin C - my first one ever! Love your review.

Oh and as for Vitamin C products you MUST review the Vitamin C from Geek & Gorgeous. Their formula is the closest dupe to Skinceuticals I've seen and they make it FRESH weekly! The best part? It's even cheaper than Prequel's.

So, I’ve actually tried all her products too and here is my ranking so far!!! ❤️
    1. Gleanser - Can’t hype this up enough. Actually cleans your face but is still super moisturizing. It’s the only moisturizing cleanser that hasn’t left my skin feeling stripped.
    2. Urea Lotion - If you’ve got KP on your legs etc, this so so great for that! It’s helped me so much!
    3. Skin Utility Ointment - great for slugging or to rub under eyes at night.
    4. Hypochlorous Acid - haven’t seen too much of an effect on this but hasn’t hurt either.
    5. Barrier Repair Cream - Kind of indifferent on this one. Some people online have found it irritating
    6. Vitamin C - Stung my face a bit and I also found it to be super sticky. Ended up retuning due to the sensitivity on my face
    7. SPF - Also returned. If you have a darker complexion, this will leave a white cast on your skin that’s pretty bad. I would suggest staying away from it.
Overall, I really love her product line. There were a couple of misses for me but the ones I love are definitely crucial to my routine. I’ve already ordered more bottles of the Urea Lotion, Ointment, and Gleanser.

Honestly Dana, this is probably one of the few selected brands I would like to try....I mean the price point is excellent; looking at the ingredients, there's no problem with that.... Personally, I find that hypochlorous acid not something I would use....the hype hasn't reached Europe yet 😅😅..
Hopefully Dr.Sam will be able to sell in Europe ( EU approved ingredients and concentrations)

I have a lot of products from a lot of different popular companies and many of them are good. But wow this cleanser and lotion are really impressive. My skin is very soft after even one use. I tried the hand film tonight. And that is really nice as well. I was like. Where was this one I was a busy mom and RN washing my hands all the time. Tried the foot cream tonight. It's the only product that thus far. I'm not a total fan of because of the petroleum in it. It did not glide on. But i'm sure that's part of the need to have that deep lubricating substance for your feet, if you have callous. I went back and reordered the cleanser and lotion. And I added the vitamin C. To give that a whirl.

I just placed an order for their new hand and foot creams and the urea lotion that’s back in stock and then came upon your review! Besides those items and the vitamin c and ointment, I have every item in their line and have been loving them. Regarding the HOCL spray I have to say I am so impressed with the packaging. The spray nozzle creates a fine mist-better than tower 28’s spray nozzle-and at a considerably lower price point. HOCL does wonders for people like me who are prone to getting bumps on the skin. As for the cleanser I am 100% with you: I wouldn’t care if every other cleanser ceased to exist, all I need is this one!

the frequency at which they are releasing these products frightens me a little bit. i'm sure they're good products, but it feels a bit like the "fast fashion of skincare" approach the inkey list followed. i'm still very curious to try some of these though; the hypochlorous mist, foot salve, and urea lotion look quite nice.

    • @DanaRipperton
      @DanaRipperton  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

My guess is they developed the majority of the line already, and to keep people talking about them instead of launching with all of the products, they spread it out. Geek and Gorgeous has an amazing vitamin C serum for $13.90. It also contains ferulic acid and vitamin E, it's produced in small batches to preserve the freshness. So, a $23 vitamin C serum is not very cheap.
