Just realised I said 'Warcry' instead of 'Warmaster' at the end of the vid in my sheer delirium! 🤦♂️😆 ah well, hope your all good 🧙♂️ Links for The Rule sets in my Description, Enjoy!
@vagabondprime1691 oof nice! Space saver and I bet the terrain looks amazing 👏 yeah I've been tetering on historical recently, not jumped in yet either... 😬😆
Lovely looking terrain! I follow a very similar procedure. I’m playing WotR as well, this Friday, with 3 friends and a ton of Warmaster miniatures. I’m off this week, so I’m also having a go at writing a first draft of my own rules, specifically for big battles of 10mm LotR.
Thank you 🙏 Ah cool! I cant wait to play my first game, I absolutely love the core Warmaster Revolutions rules. So much easier to digest than most rulesets, the WOTR add on is amazing too, i was pleasantly surprised by it all. That sounds amazing, will you be sharing your rules when there done? I would love to give them a read and try them out.
@@TheWizardsBrush sure. If you give me your e Mail, I will send you a copy when they’re done. I’m going to write the core rules first and then play test them. Then do some basic army lists.
Ooh ok! Epic! cheers. If you able to DM me on Instagram and ill share my email there - instagram.com/thewizardsbrush_miniatures?igsh=MW92cGY4dWJ4cGZ2ZA==
Looking great! Loved this scale since GW Epic, more years ago than I care to remember! Just wondering if there is an army of the dead in 10mm anywhere???
Amazing stuff motivated me to start my OWN Little 10 mm project! The Trolls are my favorite! Also: you should make and osgiliath Ruins Gaming Board for the clash of your Gondor and Mordor army!
Not sure if I missed it or if you didn’t mention: were these printed in resin or FDM? I have the arkenfel set and have desperately wanted to do a small scale Minas Tirith, but keep talking myself out of it.
I didn't say, but it was printed on a Resin printer, I think it would probably be absolutely fine to print at this size (39%) in FDM and most likely cheaper. Ah nice! Yeah I've thought about something like that. BiG project but would be soooo cool! I working on a similar thing with Minas Morgul, which is being printed mostly FDM
Damn you Wizard. With this series you made me start planning a Rohan army in 10 mm. Out of curiosity what's the percentage you scaled the Arkenfel files to?
@@TheWizardsBrush i am thinking Cromarty Forge Goths. I know from Wakes discord that someone else has a similar idea (and probably will realise it sooner ;)).
@@TheWizardsBrush I printed a piece from the Atlantis set by Dark Realms Forge a while ago to go with a warhammer in 10 mm High Elves army. I got it in 32-33% (if I recall correctly) and funnily enough I felt it is a bit too large, hence why I was curious about your setting. But yours look just the right size ;).
@Keseleth yeah it's a weird one, I've printed other things and scaled them the same (39%) and they didn't look right. I think its a judgement call and differs from set to set. I think its always between 33 - 40 though
Thank you :) Yeah I was pretty loose with scale tbf, just had those trees left over this time. That's great to know, thank you! Im still learning this scale. I do think that trees vary in size in real life though, so i will think of these as young trees i spose. Any advice on good trees to buy for this scale or do you make your own?
@@TheWizardsBrush I use Aliexpress, but you need to be very careful about the size. About buildings, some historical wargamers use 6mm scale buildings with 10mm miniatures, as the horizontal foot print would be easier to manage and represent a hamlet or city. There is always a discrepancy between vertical and horizontal scaling in wargaming anyways. I prefer 10mm buildings myself.
@ElpredatorGYRO @ElpredatorGYRO Ah ok yeah I know of it, cheers ah yes I see, that makes sense. I am learning alot about wargaming at this smaller scale from people in the community like yourself so thank you 😊 🙏 is it mainly historical you play?
@@TheWizardsBrush I seldom play lately, but I have WWII armies and fantasy armies too. I guess Ground scale depends on what your base represents : If it is a 1to1 ratio, you can go terrain and miniatures at the same scale. However, we often do a 1 to 5 or 1 to 10 ratio, so the terrain must be approximate. I like to have loose elements over a base that represent the area. i.e : Having a paved square to represent a group of Buildings with 3-5 loose buildings, so that you can move them around during play to place your regiments.

ok cause i just rewatched that a few times over to figure it out lol
also the both rules links say not available ?
@DiceLifeJohnny I bet! 🤣i was very tired when recording that. Just subbed to your Channel as well
@@DungeonMasterJohnny I just tried them as well, they don't link from the comment for some reason but they work in my description. Just tested.
@@TheWizardsBrush Right on man, thanks!
Those ruins look beautiful mate! The paint job really brought them to life, love it!
Ah thank you mate, appreciate ya🙂🙏
I would argue your explanation of TH-cam is masterfull. Also spruble is the way to go.
Ah wow thank you 🙏 high praise indeed. Perhaps some of my inane babble does make some kind of sense 🤔😂 maybe. Ok ,1 vote for Sprubble Counted.
Dark Realms Arkenfel STLs has been the best boon to the Middle Earth terrain. So much goodness to print there, both regular and ruined versions.
Yeah I absolutely love the set, definitely perfect for Middle Earth and they scales down perfectly 👌
I LOVE this series
I'm really glad your enjoying the series! 🙂 🙏 thank you 😊
Hope you keep it coming
Thank you 😊 🙏 I will do!
This looks absolutely lovely ❤
Thank you 😊 🙏
Another top notch vid! I mistly do 15mm, but your videos are always inspiring and entertaining! Thank you!
Thank you 😊 Ah nice, I bet that's a nice scale to work in. What do you do in 15mm historical or?
@@TheWizardsBrush Mostly crazy stuff, like reformatting Mordheim to 15mm. The historicals bug hasn't bit me YET...

This terrain looks so alive, like it comes straight from the big screen
Ah thank you 😊 🙏
Great stuff again mate! Had a little eargasm at some point there
The orb on the statue is probably a palantir, might be better black if you ever consider repainting it!
Ooh yeah could be cool as a Palantir, I might print another one and do that either way
Oh yeah ! An other great video 😊
Thank you 🙏🙂
Moooooooore terrain! We wants more precious
It is my terrain.... it came to me, it shall be an heirloom of my printdom. It is precious to me......
you should do a battle report
