    Some handy info for the Dynon HDX users: to get the “local” Baro reading push and hold in the Baro knob for a couple seconds and it will display the closest AWOS transmitted Baro and if no awos available it will use GPS alt for the Baro

    Love this panel layout. Clean, clean, and clean! Thank you for sharing your aviation dream with us. Your truly care about GA and Dynon is doing the right thing by GA. Thank you for showing us the Dynon family. My other pilots friends didnt know what Dynon was until your videos. Like other comments your changing minds and switching other pilots to Dynon. Keep up your videos and would love to meet you one day. GA loves you.

    I cant believe I woke up to this video. This is a great layout and congratulation. I been watching you for over a year and you been talking about a panel upgrade and how you are saving for it for a while. Great job by everyone and Dynon Skyview is a great unit. Everything just flows on that panel. It looks like a new airplane. I saw some comments and I think it would be cool to do a meet up and go over your panel. You sparked a lot of interest in Dynon and I also noticed your facebook trending with others saying the same. You always talk about GA as your love story and your 100% correct. Congrats again and keep up the great work.

    Hey Chris. Because I only came across your channel recently I’m catching up with your videos. Love seeing the upgrade in the glass panel. I flew the diamond 20’s with both the steak gauges and the garmin glass at Take Flight. So many tools. Almost seems like cheating. The computer does all the calculations and the autopilot is amazing. Seems like a great plane. Bravo.

    Nice System! I really like it! Do you have a remote compass module? I noticed that the D10 read "remote compass not detected" and it also seemed to be a bit off on altitude from the PFD, Is that normal? Thanks for the content!

    Very nice flight and I really liked your new setup as I have the same airplane model/year, my only concern is your high CHT on climb out, I try to maintain 120mph on climb to maintain CHT below 380°on my no.4 cylinder , I know caution range starts at 450 for this type of engines but when I exceed 400° I feel uncomfortable, makes it hard sometimes on summer Southern California days, are you OK to go on higher than 450° on more than one cylinder usually?, I'm considering getting something similar to this over the next 2 years, thanks again for the great content.

    • @PilotFun101
      @PilotFun101  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Thank you! I’m ok a little over 450. I try to keep it under as much as I can of course on climb out. It was a hot and humid day. Having this Dynon system you can really see everything like the CHT. It’s not really a guess anymore. Real numbers. So now I have to change my ways a little on a few things.

    • @Pilotjanat
      @Pilotjanat 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@PilotFun101 yeah absolutely, I have JPI700 and keeping the airspeed right st 120mph on climb really helps, also make sure your engine baffling is good and close all gaps, on hot days if I'm climbing to high altitude say like 8000-11000ft which is where my airplane would love to be for speed/efficiency I climb to 1000ft agl with max power then reduce power to 21" 2300rpm wait untill CHT under 370 and then 25" 2500rpm and 120mph all the way to cruise altitude, I'm doing this since 1 year and my cht never exceed 400° except 2 flights.
