I bought the widowmaker for my hemi 5.7 reg. Cab but I wanna remove the resonators too but don't want 80-85mph cabin drone.
@@HemiJB91 yep and the 92 Cummins my parents order in Oct of 91 has over 300k miles and the sticker on the door says assembled in mexico.

Black widow is so underrated. It's a very distinct sound.
I agree, the Widowmaker sounds good. Can't say I like the Race Venom though, that one sounds so hollow.

If this hemi sounds this good with a factory Y pipe then it would sound amazing with true duals and long tube headers.
True duals with an X pipe. True duals makes the hemi gives a supper choppy sound.

@@Njderig I need to post a video of mine. High flow cats, 3" true duals with an x. Dynomax race bullet resonators. It's LOUD. I'll be in the market for black widows soon though. Got a little mans on the way
I have heard from my local exhaust shop (McDonald Muffler, Mobile AL) that a true dual system will lose low end power but will pickup high rpm power.
If you tow, according to them, stick with the factory routing.
Swapping mufflers and cutting resonators they say is fine.

Why always y pipe after the muffler? Why not single in dual out? And how come 2.5 inlet ? Isn't stock 3inch inlet ?
I don't understand why they didn't do 3" either. As for the y pipe, the widow makers are single inlet/outlet only.
My 21 ram is single 3.25 in dual 2.5 in out and does it through the OEM muffler with no additional Y pipe other than the factory one after the cats.

@@jacobm9697 if it's a 4th gen, it's 3"in, 2.25" out. If it's a 5th gen. It's 3" In/out with a y pipe after the muffler.
