Prebaiting For Big Pike on the River Trent

Pre baiting for Pike can be very productive, In this video I head out to Pre bait some areas for some pike fishing sessions I have planned on the River Trent.

Yes pike are scavengers, they will eat small pecies , half fish, full fish - the possibilities are endless when choosing what to fish with on the trace

Some good perch in that stretch had them chasing the pike flies in, managaed to pull a 6" pike fly out the gob of a 3lb+ perch twice 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️😂

I found a devastating method thanks to the carp anglers I use pva with a chum mix you must make sure it breaks down no chunks especially bite sized as it's a free meal its just for the scent it got me my 33lb 3oz pb from a Scunthorpe gravel pit

Great content again and you talk a lot of sense with the pre baiting pays off 100% for sure, can i ask to why you don't use mackerel as i find them fairly bit cheaper by the kg than the sardines and bigger baits to that i personally prefer each to their own i suppose we all have own prefered baits and they all work the same.

I mate would you let us no wen your book out I want it for my husband as he a big fan he been very poorly he loves your videos on pike as he use to pike fish for 25 years now he can't through his health he as had some monsters from the wharf in Yorkshire he onley fished rivers canals he wishes you well and hope you get a dream fish thank you all the best

Rain won't effect the fishing too much, if there hungry they'll eat
