We had the Slowstar and returned it due to leakage from the bottom of the juicing container. We ended up getting the Kuvings Whole and prefer it more. :) We found the Kuvings easier to clean and actually found the larger spout made dropping in the chopped veggies easier to feed without it getting all over the counter. I didn't like the smaller chute for the Slowstar as I found myself dropping more small bits on the counter. I found more pulp left over inside the Slowstar vs the Kuvings when cleaning after. Especially stuck on the bottom of the auger, where the Kuvings would be completely clean after. Also when I am in a hurry, I liked the Kuvings where I could drop in larger produce without cutting if it fit in the chute. Made for a much smoother juicing process in my humble opinion :) Thank you so much John for all your informative videos! It has made our purchasing decision so much easier! We are so happy and feeling healthier to be getting more fruits and veggies into our diet!
I waited three years to make my decision on a slow juicer - an upgrade from the Breville Juice Fountain Duo. This video helped me make that choice and I am going to go with the Kuvings for two reasons : wider chute and easier clean-up with juice yields about the same as the Slow Star. No contest, as far as I am concerned !
I went for the Omega vert 400 hds slow juicer after seeing your review videos great product use it 3 to 4 times a day couldn't wait for the kuvings whole juicer to come out in UK but I don't regret getting the Omega. Thanks
Finaly I made up my mind thru this video , I will go with the slowstar juicer because it will do almost everything especially after the upgrade . I like the mincer attachment , juicer cap , funnel , 2 blades auger , less bulp , more juice and the jug or the container handle so I can use it for servicing . Thank you John I will wait for the juice cap to be released then I will buy it .
I am so confuse I want to buy a good juicer I been watching your videos for the hole week I am between the omega NC900 and slowstar juicer I want to juice a little of everything just to start I am new and want to change my style of leaving. help me please
Have there been any improvements in the manual juicers? I am interested in getting one for the camper, but am not sure how hard it would be to use or if they are even worth the money spent. Is it possible that you could do a new video on them at all?
Ill take being able to drop full apples, pears, beats, tomatoes, cucumbers etc and cutting off 20 mins of my juicing time, over a micro millimeter of extra yield and bit of pulp any day. Kuvings for the win!
