    Wow, the pulp really is minimal. That's amazing. I've used 5 different juicers in my life and have never seen such minimal pulp like that.

    I got this juicer and have to say am very pleased all around. High quality juicer but you have to put some effort at washing prepping buying produce and cleaning the juicer and parts. Totally worth it.

    When putting in the wiping blades, make sure the teeth on the bottom fit into the gear at the bottom of the bowel. With a vertical juicer try to avoid using the pusher ... you get more juice by allowing the juicer to take its time. Don't feed more items too fast. Because celery is stringy, you need to cut it up in short peices. Centrifugal juicers put excessive air into the juice. Vertical slow juicers minimize this resulting in better juice ... so happy to see this review from someone who has based their career on high speed centrifical juicers

    It looks great. I would like to know how safe it's going to be if I juice cabbage wich is at the base of all my juices. That said, any idea why " JUICEMAN JUNIOR" is out. I loved it until someone messed up with it

    Excellent review! I use a Hurom 100 slow juicer, and really love it! A simple strainer as pouring the juice in the cup is a nice solution for any pulpy problem. Keep juicing, keep smiling.

    Hi! I have an Omega VRT and also the SoloStar4. How would you compare the SlowStar with these? I made smoothies with frozen bananas and berries and the SoloStar4 broke twice (out of three times!) I now have to call Tribest and order another plastic housing. So now I have to resort to the VRT while they ship me the cheap plastic housing. Do you think the SlowStar is any better? Thanks!

    Linda I noticed, while you were juicing, the juice that was coming out of the juice outlet was falling onto the table. Was that because the pitcher wasn't close enough to the Tribest Slowstar Juicer? Also, do the pitchers come with the juicer?

    • @annwithaplan9766
      @annwithaplan9766 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi. I have that juicer. Cleanup is pretty easy. I just depends on what you put through the juicer, though. The more I put through the juicer the more I had to clean up. I use the "toothbrush" tool to scrub everything off after I'm done. Just make sure you clean up right away so the food remnants don't dry and stick to the screen. Celery can get stuck in it, but can be dug out easily. You have to also make sure the little red stopper underneath is securely in place or you might get a little bit of leaking. I've had it for two years now, I think, and haven't had any problems with it.

    Jay Kordich This juice looks amazing! The juicer looks awesome as well. I have the Omega Vert 350 and I have to say that I was disappointed with it. You have to cut things very small and celery and hens tend to get stuck or wound around the auger. Would you please show the inside of the juicer after juicing? I would love to see how much pulp is left on the auger or if any celery strings were clogged in the pulp ejection area. Thanks so much for all you guys do to educate people on the value of juicing! Keep it up!!

      @maryborntreger5346 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +Stephany Gatrelle My experience with the juicer is wonderful for celery. That was one of my deciding factors. Mine never clogs and pulp is dry and juice is smooth.

  • @takeoffyourmask9178

    Have to admit, it made very light work of the celery. I have trouble putting greens and celery through the Kuvings, have to cut into tiny pieces. It has trouble with soft fibrous pulp. Makes great cabala though. But the slowstar looks very good. I think Tribest also makes the twin gear Greenstar? Be forewarned, NO juicer is perfect, each one has its pros and cons, each seems to have a preference for a type of produce it does well. Good review

    • @melonbarmonster
      @melonbarmonster 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      You still have to cut celery for high yield and efficiency but does a very good job with greens as well as fruits. Usually juicers are good at one but not the other

    One would think someone that supposedly has lots of juicer knowledge would know that you rarely ever need to use a pusher on a vertical slow juicer. It's called a slow juicer for a reason. You don't force feed the produce to speed thing up.

    Love juicing but seems that the juice is falling from the spout into the counter. I wonder if it's a container design or the woman just didn't know how to put under the spout properly. She seems a bit messy by Just watching her pour the juice. It's falling into the counter too. I also noticed they have a vitamix in the back. Lol

    FYI: This Juicer has a MAJOR problem where the main component that makes everything work (which is made of cheap plastic), breaks rather easily. Especially if you use carrots
    or produce of similar consistency. I own the product and have encountered the problem a couple of times... Customer service will send you a replacement (if you're under warranty of course!)
    but cannot guarantee that they'll improve on the design or send you the said improvement once done... I put a video on my channel showing the issue. I think anyone paying this much for
    this product should be aware that this happens... Thank you.
