I posted this as a reply but I felt it was worthy to be shared as an original post. The point of this message was clear. God is speaking to people in this situation right now (myself included so I’m a witness) that if you’re dating and sexual sin is being committed or toxic things happen between you too, if you’re pulling or pushing each other twords sin, it needs to stop the Lord God says. I’m kinda in shock right now by the way I’m feeling and thinking about this , because it’s no coincidence in life watching this at this time , and I’m seeing God in a different way, more powerful, more listening and it’s bringing on a little bit of the fear side, but humbleness knowing he’s watching .. and I’m listening. But anyways, mark gives perfect advice according to scripture, you can either #1, continue on sinning and not listening, with or without the fear of God .. and you end up in a very bad situation , or dead. #2 you can talk to him about this, keep dating twords marriage. #3 you can leave the person completely so the sin STOPS . Key word , The lord says Edited : You may try and ignore the conviction, you may try and continue to twist and turned based on how you feel and what the enemy says to you in your head, but if you fear God, or start to fear him because of this, then HEED to his word and listen to him. What he has to say. He is the God of the universe and creator of all things in it. The Bible doesn’t lie when it says the path is straight and narrow and that few shall find eternal life. To follow the path, you get away from sin, you meditate on his word and you listen and you acknowledge and pray to him about the difficulties and the confusion in your life. Gods word is true, and it should be no doubt in your mind after reading this, after seeing him time and time again put a word even subtly to you , right in your face, matching up with your life situations. Fear him, realize he loves you, and start listening , you wonderful creation. I hope this word blesses thousands.
I think it safe to say that I should move on. Because the girl I liked ghosted me and basically cut all forms of communications with me and is currently taken 😞 I don't believe that God is speaking to me through all of this.

Could you please define the term "girl friend". I was recently told by one of my married co-worker that he has several 'girl friends'. He then proceeded to tell me that I am one of his 'girl friends' because I am a girl and I am his friend. This is not the same definition of "girl friend" that I have. How long is this long season? Been in this situationship with someone for four months. Met online and haven't met yet due to the pandemic. Everytime I pray it seems like God always tells me to wait. Now we're not talking.
What if the reason is somewhat outside of our control? The guy I've been seeing has been serious about me since day one, and he's even told his parents about us and I've met them, and it looked like we could have gotten married soon. The problem is that his older sister is unmarried and while she was not showing any interest in getting married earlier, suddenly she is. This has put them in a difficult position, as before they were focusing on him but now with her in the picture, as parents they are torn. And he doesn't know how to approach this situation either, because he can't be insensitive to his parents desire to see their daughter married as well. I realise it's a very unique situation. I just ask for prayers that they may achieve some clarity regarding what to do, because this has left us in a limbo.

Sure, you can apply these principles in other ways. Never follow someone blindly no matter who they are. You need to do what is biblical and what you sense the Lord leading you to do. A pastor should help you learn what that is and not just tell you what to do.

What if the reason is somewhat outside of our control? The guy I've been seeing has been serious about me since day one, and he's even told his parents about us and I've met them, and it looked like we could have gotten married soon. The problem is that his older sister is unmarried and while she was not showing any interest in getting married earlier, suddenly she is. This has put them in a difficult position, as before they were focusing on him but now with her in the picture, as parents they are torn. And he doesn't know how to approach this situation either, because he can't be insensitive to his parents desire to see their daughter married as well.
I realise it's a very unique situation. I just ask for prayers that they may achieve some clarity regarding what to do, because this has left us in a limbo.

All humans are subject to these signs. Spiritual maturity applies to everyone, pastors included.
Sure, you can apply these principles in other ways. Never follow someone blindly no matter who they are. You need to do what is biblical and what you sense the Lord leading you to do. A pastor should help you learn what that is and not just tell you what to do.
