I got for my son a mini quad that was not used for more than 5 years.i got it started but will idle when the wheels are in the air.when they are on the ground it won't even start. Do you think the clutch shoes are stuck in a way?
And if it's not that, you bought a blown up motor, or the old reeds are stuck, Either way, Just buy a new one, Do a majority of the stuff you would to check over it while it's new, You shouldnt have an issue

@@skullcam it's great! I've done many mods to my 39cc pocketbike😂 it goes 50km/h lol. The raceclutch helps with acceleration because it grips at higher rpm's.

My problem with these clutches is that they break or go bald really fast in my high hp engines, i lighten up these clutches untill they engage above 9000 rpm and it really is fun to drive the bikes like this but it doesnt last long before they go bad or break down into pieces,
A solution to my problem would be a clutch that runs half the speed of my engine rpm, ib theory that should make the clutches durable and able to cope with high engine rpm engagement.
i tried allot stuff but none have worked out so far.. i still need to work on my double clutch system, the secondary clutch rpm is reduced to much to the point that the arms wont hit the clutch bell strong enough for a good grip..
The clutches on your video dont work on my engines because or the 25h chain or the sprocket breaks, even when i use the bell with the second sprocket suport bearing, sprockets still break
Maybe worth investing in some euro pucks

Skull with the carbon reed valve dose it matter with the piston havin a window in or not and i done a run on my bike and got 35mph
no window needed .. wow 35 thats quick ..ill have to do a speed run on mine one day
Im still not finnished ther. I also hav a performace clutch 2 put in and im thinking about putting a biger jet or larger carb. Carnt decide

check the chain ..the brakes..and wheel...if not then try looking at the clutch..if thats good...piston may be seized

ill give this a shot my bell is smooth was trying find same size i cannot planned on just hittin with some gritty paper so side ways not make new lines like it would be new eh?
How do you adjust the clutch springs?
You cant adjust you can get different springs on Ebay. Just get race clutch

Hey guy I have a pocket bike 49cc when it start it idle then stall out also if i try to revv it stall whats the issues with that?
Mine did that. I had to take the head off and noticed it was scored inside and had deep gauges and scratches so I sanded it smooth in the cylinder head and sanded the piston smooth also and it started right up and ran really well. U have a compression leak somewhere

Today i Tuned up My Pocketbike Engine, removed some lifters from the flywheel, and put an 40 mm piston on it, I think they are working better. Now it has so much power for a Pocketbike...Where is my shout out, bro?😅
