Disgusting how this place allows people to purposely agitate and mock them.. i swear if i owned a sanctuary or zoo i would never allow children in. Bad kids come from bad parents
Mocking and agitating the chimps is not allowed, the chimp house is a silent zone and there's many notices that you're not allowed to knock on the glass. When staff at the zoo notice guests being disruptive they also throw them out. We would really appreciate if you don't leave misinforming comments like this in the future, as your claims are very strong and completely untrue.
While you're allowed to disagree with the breeding practices of zoos it is important to keep in mind that the current mission of accredited zoos all around the globe is conservation, and breeding programs are an important part of this. The population in zoos not only function as a back-up population in case it's ever needed (and possible) to rerelease them into their natural habitats, they also make it possible to do other important stuff like genetic and behavioral research and to make people aware of why species become endagered and what we can do about it. Breeding also has a positive effect on the animals' well being, as they get lots of enrichment from having to rear their own babies and having a lot young animals will keep everyone more engaged and active in the group, not just the mothers.
really great video!! looking forward to the next one
Thank you 🤗
Where is the carl the chimp ?
Carl sadly passed away a few years ago 😢😢
So is senko marti’s child?
Senko is Cindy's son 😊 His dad was Carl who was also the father of most of Marti's children.

Zoos have no business breeding
