I'm sure this would've been beyond incredible if it were ever finished, but i'm glad you shared it. It's never a waste to share whatever work you've done, even if it's unfinished or you don't like it anymore, since others will surely do. Best of luck to you my man, wish you the best!
I’m never letting go of my Ori fandom side of me. Especially if I have a Ori plushie in my room. Ori and the will of the wisps was just a really good game for me and I always enjoy playing it
This side quest made me bawl my eyes out whenever I went back originally to see what happened.. I still wish it had a happier ending- or at least a bittersweet one
God that sidequest still breaks my heart, I'm sure the full animation would have been incredible but I don't blame you for not finishing it (not just because of burnout but because that scene is just so depressing) I always assumed the Moki you put in that animation was Ming but it seems I was mistaken. If there was anything in Ori that still draws so much intrigue from me it's the Creeping Stone that afflicts this Moki Family and all the rest in the Silent Woods clearly it's a really bad thing but it's still so mysterious
Ahhhh, this may be one of the last (if not the last) Ori related artworks I’ll see from you, so allow me to say thank you for sharing all of the work in these videos with us :) Edit: Oh my, this mission. I remember now, guess I need to prepare for the feels
Shupa Mikey avatar... I have a big hunch that you might possibly be a fan. But really, I didn't even go back to the hut on my first time through (or at least notice the detail), yet it still got me good.
Dang I remember this. It was always such a joy waiting for new updates on this, was sad to see it go but it’s great getting to see what it could’ve been. I do wish Ori had gotten more high level fan animations like this. They’re so few and far between ;w; Man though, this quest was a heart breaker >w>;
Ah dear, I clicked on this video thinking "Aww cute cat thing, wonder what this is about!" took me twenty seconds to remember playing the game... This is really well done but oh, my heart...
You know, with the writing I'm doing, I feel the emotions so much more. You did an excellent job at capturing the emotion, even if it is unfinished. Just remember: You have so much potential. Make sure to take the time you need, and don't burn out again. We like our Shupa Dupa guy.
Absolutely beautiful. Glad you're uploading all of your old artwork rather than vaporizing it. Tremendous stuff, and great viewing for aspiring artists.
This made me cry, when I saw this happened in the game I was already devastated, but this takes it to a whole new level. 😭😭😭 Ori is such an emotional game and I feel you bring it to life with your amazing animations and animatics. I know this would have been absolutely stunning if you had finished it! 💖
Hi, Shupa Mikey I hope you are fine I, just learned about, you been gone since I don't know how much time, since I didn't got any notification... But, thank you, thank you really much, you inspired so much people, and me too You desert so much love, and I wish you the best
This is Incredible for such a short animation and it appears to be approaching one of the most painful ministories from will of the wisp. Wish we could see it completed!
For somereason, I imagine this quest as sort of a lucid dream from Ori. Like this quest is just Ori giving these lost souls a warm unification before their departure, rather than an physical quest.
You did such an incredible job. Playing this part of the game hurt so much. It made me wish I'd never gone back and told him what happened to his family. The fact he purposely joined them afterwards broke my heart. It's a dark moment I'll never forget.
Very beautiful animation, how it should have looked in the end - generally breathtaking. But yes, fan projects usually require a lot of strength and inspiration, but sometimes it is not enough and the project is abandoned. And damn, I remembered about this side quest again, and I'm crying again. (as for me, it is even sadder than the final game, in some way)
Thank you for sharing this. It's incredible how much emotion can be in a story board. This side quest was so sad. You did an amazing job telling this story.
You did a flipping wonderful work giving moki and ori more character and expression. The rest of the story was very touching, they're kind and gentle nature, its heartbreaking it ended that way aa!. Thank you for sharing Mikey
This part was really Sad in the game They were so excited to see their family again and once you show them the Toy they actually run off to their home and curl up next to the petrified family members
the piece you finished was incredibly beautiful. Few have talent like you. It's a huge shame that it's not a finished project. It would be absolutely amazing to see it finished like the piece you managed to complete. But I understand that there must be a lot of work and effort and time around it. Always nice to see something new from you.
I remember seeing this when you first started. Honestly, I completely forgot about it. But thank you for sharing, Shup. It’s nice to see what this could have been. But about the project itself, when the angle of Ming (I’m just going to presume it is Ming) was waving to Ori. I thought: “Isn’t that where the Moki father’s hut was?” But when Ming gave Ori the key, I instantly knew where things would lead. Anywho, best of luck for you, Shup. May Kogahri continue to let you thrive as who you are.
I was screaming internally when (I'm guessing Ming?? Maybe??) ran away, so sad 🥺🥺 I love watching your animations, especially your unfinished work, as it gives insight on other people's methods and adds transparency, which is inspiring and helps derps like me improve, thank you for uploading this Mikey!
Incredible…when I played through this and found THIS, I cried for 5 minutes straight, I felt SO HORRIBLE for the father…I wish I could of actually saved them…
Absolutely incredible ! I really wish I could do animation of Ori (I’m working on my artistic skills) and these kind of video really inspire me to keep going. Awesome stuff 👍
It would have been amazing if you finished this because somehow you always capture the scenes in ori so perfectly like even the storyboard was good also imagine if they made whole cutscenes for this quest in the game this sad
You need to finish this. There are no to 0 animations of ori at this quality, if you could finish this it could inspire others to make some of their own
This is lovely and I wanted to ask... since your not doing Ori fanart anymore would be possible if I could adopt Ming the moki? If not then I completely understand since Ming is your original Ori Oc (Correct me if I am mistaken on that_

It’s sad. Something that not many game studios are willing to do
I’m never letting go of my Ori fandom side of me. Especially if I have a Ori plushie in my room. Ori and the will of the wisps was just a really good game for me and I always enjoy playing it
I'm the same, Ori will forever be my favourite video game character of all time
@@pokemonfangirl I'm the same, too, my friends.🕉💜🎼💙
Honestly if Luma Pools existed in real life I would definitely take a vacation there
@@henrygigstead4827 I wished that too.💕🤩💖🥰
@@kabriahparks4966 I still remember that I have over thirty screenshots of Luma Pools on my switch
This side quest made me bawl my eyes out whenever I went back originally to see what happened.. I still wish it had a happier ending-

dont show in game, but i like to believe, after ori become the new spirit tree, all creature has become stone, return to normal again
God that sidequest still breaks my heart, I'm sure the full animation would have been incredible but I don't blame you for not finishing it (not just because of burnout but because that scene is just so depressing) I always assumed the Moki you put in that animation was Ming but it seems I was mistaken. I didn't expect to get teary eyed this video. Even though it was mostly the storyboard, it was moving.
Burnout is never fun, this animation looks great even despite being unfinished but you should do what makes you happy more than anything else
Ahhhh, this may be one of the last (if not the last) Ori related artworks I’ll see from you, so allow me to say thank you for sharing all of the work in these videos with us :)
Edit: Oh my, this mission. I remember now, guess I need to prepare for the feels
Wow…..the first time i did this mission it took me of surprise. Seeing animated is as sad as i imagined it would be.

Thanks for showing us the unfinished stuff. Even unfinished, it was very emotional to watch, it hit me so hard that I almost cried...
Thank you so much for sharing it as is. I'm sure everyone is happy knowing this was not locked away forever, finished or not.

Never would've thought I would see an animated version of sad. What an amazing story and it's sad that you couldn't finish this.

Damn the animation is so smooth tho
Still grateful that you showed me about Ori xd
Proof that an Ori movie/mini series could work.
Bro, this is disney level animation, I respect you for posting it and not trashing it
You did such an incredible job. Playing this part of the game hurt so much. It made me wish I'd never gone back and told him what happened to his family. The fact he purposely joined them afterwards broke my heart. It's a dark moment I'll never forget.

Even now, this looks absolutely amazing. Brings me back to when I did the side quest for the first time. I’m grateful you shared this!
I want more!! 🥹😓😭 Very much enjoyed this! Awesome work:)
Thank you for sharing this. It's incredible how much emotion can be in a story board. This side quest was so sad. You did an amazing job telling this story.
Even though this is unfinished it still managed to punch me in the gut with sadness.
One of the saddest things in Ori and the blind forest/the will of the wisps.
Gosh it made me sad the ending it would have been amazing to see it finished,
Still amazing job with it Shupa did enjoy it alot
I always wondered if this would ever see the light of day, finished or not. Thank you for sharing this with us.
I can tell you that I've never seen such good work, it's amazing

The single most heartbreaking scene in all of gaming history
some really cute characters here! and your animation skills are super apparent. can't wait to see more stuff from you mikey, keep it up!!
Absolutely incredible ! I really wish I could do animation of Ori (I’m working on my artistic skills) and these kind of video really inspire me to keep going.
Awesome stuff 👍
This is already amazing even when unfinished imagine what it would had looked like if it was complete.
Looks cool even though it's unfinished! I think I remember to have seen something like this on your DA page but I wasn't expecting to see it here.
I love this.
Despite being a discarded animation, it looks great...
Absolutely incredible stuff my man. I doubt it would ever happen, but they better bring you on for any Ori animations in future.
It looks amazing! I've been wanting to do an Ori animation myself and seeing your Ori art really inspires me!
This guy is VERY inspiring. I'm not that much of an artist, and he still gave me inspiration to draw.
It would have been amazing if you finished this because somehow you always capture the scenes in ori so perfectly like even the storyboard was good also imagine if they made whole cutscenes for this quest in the game this sad
that mission in the game hurts animated it hurts more
Wow!
Wow, the emotion and feelings are so well transcribed in this ! Such a wornderful work
This is so beautiful! Thanks for sharing ❤
Why you gotta make it even sadder than in the game 😢
This is genuinely amazing in animation quality and story telling
He back, with a scraped project for us to wonder how it could've turned out 💭
Absolutely beautiful !
damm you, i cry again
i love your art style
even for unfinished this is amazing
Thanks for sharing, we appreciate it
Such an amazing animation of such a sad story!
Lets GO
Cool story bro!
Also the animation is rly good!
You need to finish this. There are no to 0 animations of ori at this quality, if you could finish this it could inspire others to make some of their own
I've always loved the kind of animation you do 🖤🖤🖤🖤
Sad to see that it was scrapped but its still a fantastic animation!
Wonderful work.
Very nice!
it's 2024 and i'm still a fan of this game
I like it, it is goOod
Oh no... by the title I think I understand what it means😔 I'll keep watching.
I watched it and I was right...😢
Awesome
thats rad
oh wait shit this is *that* one sidequest! i found it quite annoying that there was no satisfying end to it.
The girl in the white cat hat meets ori and ming another adventure
Pain😢😭
This is lovely and I wanted to ask... since your not doing Ori fanart anymore would be possible if I could adopt Ming the moki? If not then I completely understand since Ming is your original Ori Oc (Correct me if I am mistaken on that_
How was this scrapped? The first part was practically finished!
First here but still a decent animation

Я понимаю, насколько это тяжело

Ori and the will of the wisps comic ming and ori
Ori and ming meet the girl in hat cat please comic
Just great!!!
