I have iPad 7th gen and do not recommend! It works don’t get me wrong but it is becoming dated and starting to lag. I myself am going to upgrade to the 10th gen and recommend if others are looking into iPads; for the best bang for your buck I think iPad 10th gen seems like the most appropriate option.
Well is it that lagging? I just got the 128gb for $160 for lite gaming and entertainment. So I hope it would serve me well.

I’m using iPad 7 for 3 years and I really want to get into taking notes with Apple Pencil and using this iPad everyday with a Bluetooth keyboard and all. Besides the camera because I don’t really care for it, a downside about it is that you don’t know if apple will be actively supporting this iPad. We might get an update that will lag our iPad which makes me want to buy a newer one. Even if that doesn’t happen now its not something anybody wants. I just am tight on money for that. Also, i can’t buy some things that I want such as 2nd gen Apple Pencil, apple magic keyboards, etc. I’m scared that I will buy keyboards and Apple Pencil and then just a year later I see to buy upgraded versions because this iPad is no longer working well or apple won’t support it anymore. Is this iPad good for note taking/making it an all day everyday use? I know people care about battery and camera and the home button but I don’t care for that.

It's mostly personal preference. I like things about both but if you already like your older ipad the new ones will be similar just better performance, display and some added features

I got the iPad 9th Gen few months ago the charging on mine is not 3 hours i use the 20W USB-C Power Adapter and cable that comes with the iPad mine finishes charging in about 35 to 40 mins. I did have the iPad 7th gen its okay for what it is now. i gave it to my dad and bought the iPad 9th Gen. The iPad 7th Gen Takes forever to finish charging like 2 hours When i had it 250 for it now nah i would not pay that at all.
35 to 40 minutes is a lie, it’s basically impossible, it have almost 8000 mah battery, not possible with 20 W adapter
@@yoyonew9425 The iPad 7th doesn't have fast charging and doesn't come with the 20 w charger. It comes with the basic charger Believe what you want . I do have the iPad 9th Gen and that is fast charging and comes with the 20w charger and chargers faster then the 7th Gen iPad. Why would I lie I have both and the 9th Gen is better so Believe what you want not going to have a argument on here.
@@mikeyitalian1981 To charge ipad 9 from 0 to 100% with the 20 W adapter will take more than 30 to 40 minutes obviously, it will take more than 2 hours, it’s common sense, the battery is very large like 8000 mah, I have tested it already and also you can see other youtube videos, so why are you lying uncle?

The iPad 7th gen is using the A10 chip the same chip that is in the iPhone 7 and 7 plus from 6 years ago 2016 😂
But it’s still works and it works wonders mine runs fast and no lag whatsoever mainly because I don’t use apps.

i usually wait awhile if i can, unless i'm having issues with my current device then i'll try to update but you never know sometimes how it will go. Sometimes if you wait the bugs get fixed after a couple months before you update yours.

My ipad 7th gen just lags when playing on high graphics on codm or pubg or when i set my frames to 50 or 40 it doesn’t even feel like it it just feels like instead of 50 or 40 fps it feels like 20 or 10 it sucks idk how to fix
hmm not sure what to try there other than doing a factory reset to see if that helps but make sure everything is backed up

Yes it should be fine but I would look for the iPad 9 as it's usually marked down to $250 and it'll get longer updates and more powerful
