I'm a bit late 😅 I bought this model recently for a good price, just finished it. About the looseness: there's none, given that I repainted my model and I can say it's pretty tight because of the added micro-thickness of primer and acrylics. A beautiful set overall
I’m even more late than you! I just bought this kit last weekend and haven’t built it yet. This is my first RG, I have the 80s kit that I built back in the early 90s but have not yet painted or applied decals to. I’m planning on making my own panel lines on the old kit and painting it but was planning on leaving the RG kit alone but after reading your comment I think it makes sense to paint this one too for the reasons you’ve mentioned!
@@luifranco1457 right! I think repainting is the best basic way to add realism to the models. I received an airbrush as a gift so it was the first time I used it and I'm satisfied with the result. Real grades are already very detailed so I never add panel lines but I'm definitely scribing panels and details on my old models from the 90's soon (F91 series and G gundam) Have fun man 😁
Thanks for the video. For a while there, I thought I just didn't put this thing together right. Had the same problems you did, and some of the inner frame mechanics just kinda broke while loosening them up, most notably the part right above the knees. All the hardships aside though, the thing really does look and feel like a perfect grade in 144th scale. Now if only they'd make an Exia in Real Grade, I'd be a happy panda!
I've actually always been partial to this guy over the fb...which is why it's such a shame to see that it doesn't work very well as a kit. I had high hopes after seeing the last video that it would be a good replacement for the old HG kit, and even though it would look great among 0083 high grades if I glued it together into one pose, I think I'd feel safer with the HG GP01 -at least it wouldn't fall apart on me!
Ironically, the RG Sinanju was made, but with the Frame 5, shared with this thing and the Mk-II, and it's awful. And while I want to mention wanting a Revive HGUC GP01, I kept hearing this frame somehow kept improving to be sturdier through every reissue. But it could not fix the Sinanju, unfortunately.
i dont have any problems with mine other then getting the core fighter to go in but his arms are very nice. just wish his ankle armor moved more so show off his cool hydraulics in his feet
I have both this and the Fb. The Fb was my first RG and I have more issues with that one than this one. This one seems a lot more solid to me. The other ones arms just tend to flop around. And this one was my fourth. My second was RG Wing Zero EW and my third was the green Zaku II
I've got a burning heart!
Oh hi Josuke.
I'm a bit late 😅

The arms are fine you just have to tighten the gray plate under the main chest area should solve the wobbles you are experiencing

Thanks for the video rob! was on the fence for this kit originally
I much prefer the GP01 Ground type. I'm not a fan of the cones on the shoulders of the FB.

I would still buy this kit and the FB variant. All you need is a little superglue and a steady hand and that problem can be solved.
Didn't connect the corefighter to the top right so it just falls apart
There are two pegs that connects them
Can you put the full burnern's core fighter in the Zephyranthes? Make it look like it was originally supposed to look before it got trashed
just noticed something, you didnt open the top of the core fighter to connect the top of the torso correctly.
The waist on mine is loose to the point where the whole unit leans to the left when the shield is attached.
Me too
hurry up and finish processing youtube.... i wanna watch this review!
Did you coat it after applying the clear stickers? The plastic looks nice.
Do you use tamiya panel line accent to panel line your gunpla ?
the box to the left in the beginning... JoJo?!
We miss you Rrobbert.
you mixed up the videos in the playlist for the RG GP kits
The Zephyranthes looks so much better than the FB
Did u open one thing on the core fighter before putting the top body? Cuz mine is solid as block after doing it..
dude, did u apply top coat for these gundam?
my RG gp01 is perfect. Doesn't have any loose parts (except loose waist, but no big deal). This is actually the most rigid RG for me after MK-II
So what do you think of Pacific Rim rrobbert184?

¿Alguien sabe que le paso a rrobbert184?, tiene años de no subir un video.

Hi Robert, do you still alive?, why you not make more Real Grade Gundam review?.
Robert, maybe you should get yourself some UHU glue to fix yours.

Hi I have the FB and thinking of getting this one, is this flimsy like the FB?
+Alvin K. Not at all. It's very solid, just be sure to connect the upper body to the core block using all the tabs and it'll be rock solid.
+KionKamon i just got it a few days ago yes!! it's alot more solid than the FB the weight distribution is alot better around the upper torso
Just for people to Know, My GP01 upper body does not fall apart so easily, Maybe some parts are not well connected...
still waiting for mine to come in from Gundam Planet
Which character from JJBA is that?
the feet of mine dont go left and right, they are too stiff
i know right but its the closes store to my state
i can throw an RG without thinking of a whole hand or a whole leg falling off. sturdier than HG.
RG Unicorn, that is all.
oh cmon, imo there are some really really good zeta designs like the zeta itself but yeah some designs are pretty goofy xD
Jojolion is that you?
"Decols"? You mean DecAls?
Yeeesssh, that place is expensive *~*
you did not connect the top half correctly, thats why ur having so many problems. mine is as solid as a brick !!
Seriously, mine has realy strong arms, no issues at all.
A PG wouldn't hurt either ^^
my kit's waists are terrible. they just detach very easily.
Pacific Rim referance in a Gundam model kit review=WIN
The antenna on the head dont look rite I will leave m8ne off :)
GATOOOOOO!
Bandai won and i bought both of them
Knees are too lewd.
Alright so that's why transforming gundams suck
