I've tried to copy this tutorial, but my editing programme will not let me do half the things, eg it won't let me flood fill the new raster layer. plus other commands like insert frame etc.

Why not just lasso and place on top and erase and then merge,, seems like a lot of steps for the same result?

Hello. How did you open 2 images at the same time in the operating window? Example the lizard and window image. Currently 2021 version for me only opens 1 active image center of the working area and won't allow me to open another image and place side by side of the already opened image. Paintshop 8 allowed multiple images to be opened in the working platform

Look under the Window menu and uncheck Tabbed Documents. Each of your files should then be in separate image windows that you can resize and move around to place side by side. Hope this helps!

I mean this in the friendliest of ways but you're instructing far too quickly to follow exactly the instructions, it's easy when you know how but terribly hard if you're learning!!.

You can always slow down the TH-cam video playback. That's what I do.

Terrible video. Nothing is explained. How about telling us where to click?
