Hi Wayne. We fished that wooden jetty only yesterday and were asked to leave by the factory owners. They said we were trespassing on private property. Also that we had crossed a fence that was there for a reason - to prevent people accessing it. Shame because we has some great pollack down the sides prior to them coming ovr
Norway again? Wow! Wish I could do that! Going to have to start doing a dedicated coastal trip here in US every year. Really miss the English Channel and the North Sea (originally from Sheffield but lived 26 years in Jersey). Now in landlocked Utah, so my only chance of Haddock is Walmart on the frozen fish section! Hope you enjoyed the fish, chips 'n' mushy peas!
Hi Wayne, have you ever considered doing tutorials at fishing marks? For us newbies who want to learn, how about a tutorial session, starting at Chesil, and then maybe Norway? I’d be a very willing Guinea pig, at my cost etc…
Get yourself to Lofoten, and further north to Soroya, Hammerfest etc...if you can make contact with the locals, probably in a bar, they might guide you to where the big fish are, Halibut from the shore are common.
@@TheShoreHunter The one thing I've found about being in Norway is that Eastern European fishmongers who kill everything by suffocating them in a plastic bag will simply set up on your shoulder and think nothing of it. I get as far away from them as I can.
Fantastic put together video with a wonderful reward of a beast of a Haddock to end , well done mate 👏👏👏

@TheShoreHunter when booking, is there a specific airline to go through? Obviously taking rods, tackle and bait adds alot of extra luggage!

What part of Norway were you fishing in? From the states here, it’s my dream to fish Norway one day.
Trondheim area mate
Man, there's so many truly stunning places in Norway, do you not fancy trying some new places in the country instead of grim looking jetties?
I do and will mate
