That's where they come from.
The tik toker guy one day when I was very down due to loss in currency , offered me tea and give me comfort for my loss he didnt even know me. Now, I saw with same energy , the same smile , with a stranger , indeed he is a kind guy.
You can tell by the body language and posture, the people in the video are genuinely happy despite the simple living. The smiles are real not fake.
Shame on western media they ever never show the real pace of pakistan.probably tears in my eyes.

While that is true, there is one problem with this video. Where are the women and girls? Are there none in Peshawar?
It seems they are generally unable to leave the house at their leisure, even wearing hijab?? What kind of culture and society basically imprisons its women and girls at home?
What use is all this “hospitality” when women (almost half the population) have so few rights? How about giving the women some hospitality?
There is a comment on this video from a Pashtun man saying he wishes his people would treat their women with the same respect and kindness that they show this tourist!
Westerners watching this video are going to notice this, especially women. I’d love to visit Pakistan and Peshawar but wouldn’t feel comfortable doing so as a woman. And according to this video, I wouldn’t be very welcome. I also would feel very uncomfortable with just men everywhere.
Such a terrible shame. It could be a truly great country but your treatment of women is why Pakistan is still a backwards country.

@@doug_barnardbro first of all we Pashtun peoples are very kind when they saw a foreigner in Peshawar they try to meet them and also wants to serve them and when they gather around you they only wants to show their hospitality and aslo they want’s fame but in reality if some guys stairs you that’s not means that they will haram you they just want to see you that what that person was recording because most of doesn’t have knowledge about TH-cam or about vlog
And yeh one more thing in Peshawar peoples also wear pant shirt not only mens but also females and also some females only wear salwar kameez they don’t wear burkha

At first I felt embarrassed, because he was feeling uncomfortable with the crowd. But then I realised this is the real and genuine face of loving and kind Pakhtun. No matter what the circumstances are but we make us and people around happy and joyful. Proud to be Pakhtun.

Watching this is wild because I did the same trip a year and a half ago. I'm also an American with red hair and bought shalwar kameez to wear to Peshawar. You are basically having the same experiences I had and going to the same places. I even recognize some of the faces of the people in the video.

This is amazing; to be overwhelmed with kind, generous, real people as contrasted diametrically opposite with the US and many Western nations. Madness.
Very true, however there is one major curiosity in the video.. where are the women and girls? They are conspicuously absent. There are only men and boys.
Women aren’t generally free to leave the house by the looks of it (even wearing hijab). There’s a limit to how kind, generous and “real” a society can be when their women are basically imprisoned. There is a clearly a major flaw in their society.
