- Watch, as British Couple, Jack and Paige enter Peshawar, Pakistan. A place the UK government advises against all travel to. A place where few travelers dare to venture but a place we have been dying to go. Across our journey into the depths of Pakistan, there has been one group of people who stood out to be the kindest and most hospitable, the Pashtoons. In this video, Jack ventures to become a true Pathan. We meet a man who looks like the Pakistani Bald and Bankrupt, and find our way through Qissa Khawani Bazaar. A friendly shopkeeper helps Jack find the perfect Shalwar kameez and shares sweet green tea with us. Back into the market, we are able to find a Pakol hat and Pashmina Shawl to complete the Pathan transformation. After a long day in the city of Peshawar, we finally sit to enjoy a meal of Kabuli Pulao, the national dish of Afganistan, just 40 miles away from the Afgan border.

@jack it's called "Kabuli Palao" but this is not an afghani shop it's a pakistani shop and this is pakistani version of "Kabuli Palao" hope you enjoyed it
Well we all know how racist punjabis and the rest of the pakistan is w Pashtuns. The entire KPK belongs to Afghanistan and Inshallah that soon will happen. Pak is run by Puppets like Asim munir
No bro it's not kabuli pulao it's Peshawari mewa chana pulao, it's Peshawar's traditional rice which is totally change from kabuli pulao.
This is Peshawari Palao, it has chickpeas and (sometimes raisins too) in it and with extra topping of sweet fried carrot
Afghan pulao has raisins and carrots...this is *traditional peshawari chana mewa pulao*... chick peas and raisins...sometims carrots are added too but not always.
Its Mewa Channa Pulao, traditional rice of Peshawar.

The name is Pukhtoon...but if anyone is out side of KPK province then they call Pukhtoon the Pathan..actually the British couldn't pronounce it correctly and called the Pukhtoon OR Pakhtoon the Pathan..so thats what it started back then.. And still some people say it Pathan..but they are all the same people.(Pukhtoon, Pakhtoon or Pathan).
I don't know why people in Sindh, Punjab and all of Pakistan still use the word "Pathan" then, I find it hard to believe that these people don't know what the real world is because they've been living together for thousands of years before the British ever showed up.
I know- but as you know we Pakistani actually people from South Asia just love to use the English words and what the British did here in South Asia. @@laalbujhakkar

Guys just a correction the resin and chicken pea pulao is basically traditional peshawar walled city food, Afghani or Kabul Pulao doesn't have Chick peas only resins and has carrots added
