- This build is one of a kind designed for me by Jeff Fink for Wonderfest 24' - It is mostly made from 3D Resin parts printed on my Phrozen Mega 8K with additional hosage and greeblies pulled from my spare parts boxes. #doctorwho

I tossed in this idea on Insta, that there should be the finished exterior as an option. This is a great size for anyone's display area. So I hope that comes to pass.
You worried about a Christmas Tree interior-- I say celebrate the Dalek Christmas Tree!
I would have bet the farm that Daleks were entirely a machine race. Nothing alive on the inside because that is so difficult to maintain. But now that we know different, lights, tubes, more lights, wiring. That noodle light in the green tubing was inspired and should have run all over the place!
Sure-- what you've got is very nice. But there's room for more, more, more!

I think that your Dalek is in keeping with the 'character' of 1960's / 70's Daleks. Looks absolutely brilliant Phil!

One piece of advise from someone who’s taken models on planes (for IPMS) is when you’re taking it with you as part of your carry on is to be ready to open it up for TSA. Once they see the large hunk of *something* and wires on the Xray, you will have their undivided attention. Be forthcoming that it’s a model for a scale model show. Etc. Good luck.
Thank you. I have it ready for inspection. I think half the battle is expecting it to be scrutinized. This way you are prepared.
That has turned out really nice..... I like the extra detail that you have added yourself! Looking forward to seeing the Sprueverse challenge..... they are always good to see, the time machine, and the Orca from Jaws were fantastic builds!
The 'Modern' Daleks have a blue light in the eye! So it's perfectly in keeping with them to have a blue light in the eye!
I like that kit Phil. I’ve ordered a Bruce from Stann Arts so they would look good together.
Movie BTS has always fascinated me, sometimes more than some of the movies!
Fantastic work would love one of these👍 Last Monday I picked up a nice 12" new who remote control bronze Dalek proportions are mostly good just looking to replace the slightly off gun arm and give it a good weathering 😎
A pity we didn't get to see the Kaled before it was sealed into the bowl.

Absolutely love this and would love to get my hands on one! Hope it goes over well at Wonderfest! I've seen the comic book cut away pics over the years and always thought that it would be a great kit. Lots of Whovian love here!

Great new take on the old Dalek. Thanks Phil. Good luck at Wonderfest. This was the colour scheme I did on my second full size Daleks back in the early ‘90’s.

Previously having a Sevans vac form Dalek model, I'd love to buy one of these! Please, take my money! With a full outer shell, half removable to show the interior which would be a blast to build.

I would disagree a with your comment about show 'lore' however…
Despite what the average 'TV Producer' might assume, I see show after show praised or canned Precisely Based Upon its respect for established cannon these days. That would seem to be the primary sin of the Amazon Adaptation of Tolkien, for example, and on a fundamental level, it is this that provides the gains from the sorts of cameos and token inclusionary references the same producers are more than happy to 'cash in on'.
While I agree audiences are generally predisposed to go along with changes for the sake of the show, or story, it is a courtesy writers tax when used. Moreover, Every IP, with sufficient disregard, can overwrite themselves right out of the zeitgeist.
Anyone striding into an established narrative with the idea that elements are mutable to their own whims fails to realize they are entering a space Already Inhabited by Hundreds, if not Thousands, or Millions of others. They Want to Play Along! They Want to hear Your Stories! But they also Expect You to respect their passion with the gift of consideration. It can be either a mutually beneficial, or a mutually destructive relationship, but only One of them gets to Actively Choose which it will be! 🤓
