Tips for new riders watching these clips:
1. Be aware of blind spots, there are a lot of situations that can be avoided if you realize that the car on your side can't see you in it's rearview mirror.
2. Do not follow people to "educate" them, you might even say something if you are going in the same direction but if you start following someone, you don't know how they are going to react.
3. People jump red lights, so wait to see if the cars are slowing down before rushing through.
4. Don't do it for the content. Ride safe. Going through traffic at 100mph and expecting drivers to react in time is dumb.
5. Control your emotions, don't let anyone on the road ruin your day. Is not that serious.

The car driver is especially funny, even having windshield wipers on in the clear nice daytime, and also if putting handbrake on isn't something done habitually, perhaps he shouldn't be driving at all. That's an L-Permit kind of stupidity right there.
I agree but also disagree. Do you know how concerning it is when a vehicle is a mere few feet from your back tire? Only takes a split second to become someone's hood ornaments cause bikers don't have a metal cage/bumpers to protect them.

8:31 .. ABC Class Fire Extinguisher, they weigh 5lbs, some 10lbs, it's silly not to carry one, especially if you're an ADV or Dual-Sport that actually go off the main road at times to where there's brush/bushes.
If there's a brush fire, and you're on a dual sport, you just need to leave. Call 911, if you've got signal, and bounce outta there. Brush fires move FAST and they'll cut you off and kill you just as quick. Unless it is an extremely inconsequential fire, such as a smoldering campfire that has reignited, in which case just throw dirt on it. Same with car fires - if it is an engine fire, it is almost always preferable to throw dirt on the fire if you don't have a large ABC can or you can just dump foam on it. Those small hand-held cans really won't do much to an engine compartment fire in most cases. They're great for contents or for piddly grassfires on medians started by people throwing cigarettes out their windows (I've had Troopers put out plenty of those with their tiny cans) but not much else.
If you do get caught in a large brush fire, the safest place to be are areas that have already burnt. Otherwise flee behind natural cuts, such as rocky terrain. The second safest place is on the opposite end of a roadway. Move away and report the fire. Don't try and fight it, because at best you'll become a victim who needs rescue or at worse you're going to die.
NOPE... If you're going to dual sport or adventure off the roads, get a "trenching tool" from a G.I. Surplus or Army/Navy store. They fold up to a relatively tiny package, and work well as a mattock (chopping out hard-pack) AND a shovel (scoop and sling or dump)... If there's dirt, sand, gravel, whatever... You can bury the fires worth your time fighting... If it's bigger than that, GET THE F*** OUT OF THERE!!!
Just go report the situation, and no matter who or how many are still milling around and trying to fight it. Chances are, you're not going to talk any sense into them. JUST get the authorities out there so people can get help/rescue... preferably BEFORE it gets wildly out of control. ;o)

You learn in a parking lot doing circles at 15, 20, 25, then 30, then after you've got leaning the bike over comfortably down you go and learn on an empty road that has zero blind corners and you take them at 35, then 45, then 50. And only after you're super fucking comfortable and decently skilled at taking corners at 50 do you even consider twisties with blind curves with on-coming traffic that can kill you if you run wide.

I'd say they did a pretty decent job actually, all things considered. As far as I know most fire departments would pry the hood up only enough to extinguish the fire. They have a truck full of water to use though. Your car isn't easily coming back from an engine fire regardless of how you put the fire out.
