Hello, this will be a long message, and maybe you wouldn't read it, but here I go: I'm a graphic designer too, been for 10 years. Lately I've struggling with mental health and lack of love for design. I quit a job where they explote me A LOT some months ago, and wanted to try something different but also be a freelance (Not used to be a freelance). I wanted to make a logo for a project and it was so difficul, I lack the inspiration and the will. Some days ago I decided searching in YT somebody making a logo, I search for a "cute logo" and this video appear and I put it as a background sound. It helped a lot! specially because your process is so similar to what I do, so I feel encorage to work like that again, is not that I love design again, but I feel good doing a logo at least. ILOV All your TUTs, but Yeah, please make them slower on the part that explains “illustrator”, I don’t yet work with illustrator but consider to buy it since I recently bought an iPad (april2021) and learn a ton with you procreate iPad tuts and you actually pumped me to update my computer + software and the new one include for sure will that illustrator!

Hi - really liked it, although a little bit quick - one question please - what exactly did you do in Procreate with the flower? You used the gel ink brush and drew the flower if I am correct but then I did not get it - something with outline? ?
Procreate is just a sketch app, you can use any paint app that supports graphic tablet with pen pressure sensitivity, eg I only use free software so on Linux I use Krita. But to make logo for customer who will be able to use it in any resolution or format in print, you need to make logo as vector shape, and for that you need vector app like Illustrator or what I use on Linux is Inkscape, totally free
i watched the whole video, really enjoyed it. i cant draw but id love too. im currently stuck on brand name/ youtube name ideas and also a logo. im not sure whether to use my whole name or first name 😫 x

Would you mind doing tutorials for the Illustrator techniques you used, esp. the creating outlines with the font, erasing and overlapping letters, making a vector, etc. I'm a beginner watercolour natural artist and I've just started exploring digital art tools for my small handmade business, and I'm taking notes from your video like mad!
7:00 I agree with you your pick as well, the two Bs have to be sort of different and this is the best version. to me, this process is totally normal and an actual example of the convoluted path to make something feel coherent and great. Well done for persevering with it. Ya rock! :-) P.S. I might have chosen a bit different font family...perhaps something a bit less standard sans-serif...but that's a personal choice :-)

Did you know that there’s is a button in the “trace image” settings that removes all white areas? Might make it a bit easier ☺️ nice logo though!
That's what I was thinking as well! That's what I use - image trace :) I love Illustrator
Its not a button its an option to remove the same color as the selected one.

She auto vectorized it in illustrator. It’s a feature which is generally on top of the canvas when you export any jpeg or png in the application.

Why not get adobe illustrator for your iPad is there a reason you sketch in procreate and transfer it over to your Mac to illustrate?
I do have it, but always gravitate to Procreate for some reason :)
