Very down to earth and simple directions and you laugh at yourself which helps. About to go and watch more of yours. Well done!

Last night I created my first digital drawing, and it needs work since I kept forgetting some things. But since reviewing your video over again about 5 times, I believe I have it down! I can't wait to try it tonight.

I love your videos, they teach me so much ! Thank you :-). I do have a quick question: after the lips and eyebrows you made a new layer for the face, but the shape of just the face was already on it, how did you do that? If I make a new layer its completely blank and I'd have to cut, copy & paste the faceshape and leave out the hairs or make all the facelayers seperately to begin with. If I fill it like you did my whole layer would become the skin colour... Any tips? Thanks a lot :-)

You can always trace in a bright color over top the image so you don’t have to hide the photo layer to check your lines. Once you like the linework you can just turn the brightness of the line work down to make it black

I always tried to translate them to Illustrator bc I've always been an Android girl and NEVER thought I'd get an Apple, BUT I just HAD to have Procreate so I've saved up and just got an iPad 7th gen + 1st gen Apple Pencil and I'm going to try this EXACT portrait for my first illustration!! ( BTW I'm super OCD and noticed that the only thing you missed was the background teal blue between her sleeve and hair (; )

I’m new to digital art and already a fan of procreate even though I’m just starting to use it with the pocket version on my phone lol can’t wait to get a iPad Pro and Apple Pencil but for now practicing with it and watching videos really helps . This is soooo awesome ! Thanks for making this ! Love all the tips and techniques you shared . Especially since I love illustrating and I go in between various styles and really love portraits in illustration/cartoon style as well . And yeah the whole tracing thing haha it helps with digital art like this at least as a layout and then you can get more detailed and stylized in your own way . This rocks !

I love my procreate and of course my iPad and my Apple Pencil BUUUUUT after using it for a while, no matter what I touch i get shocked from it and that is so annoying...lol does anyone have ever had the same experience as I always do?
