Its easier way to get to The lost River you just need The signal from The Yu's Life pod and turn left to The big cave and you will be in lost River easier

I started playing this game a few years ago and dropped it, but I started playing it again after a bunch of years, and I've been searching for this base for the absolute longest time. I played the game in the wrong order so I have absolutely no in-game guide of progression and I even find the primary alien containment unit before I could find this because the door is so well hidden. I've been in that exact lava area several times over and over and never saw that small doorway. Thank you so much for showing me now I can finally complete the game after several years 😭😭😭😭😭

A bigger cavern to get the big ass cyclops into the lost river and right over the inactive lava zone very close to life pod 12 In the blue bulb zone. It starts to slop down sharply and you will see a big hole to the left. Plenty of room to get down as one eye is not so easy to pilot. You can take it into the zone but I wouldn't. The seas dragon will not miss you and rip you apart. Use the prawn suit with the grapple and the improved jump jets and a drill and you can upgrade all you stuff with the blue crystal back on the cyclops if you came prepared. Otherwise the last alien installation is below this area and only the prawn suit can get there. Just jump jet right to it. You may get hit a few times and even chomped on my the dragon but you can survive multiple hits.
I completely agree with you, if you don't have experience with cyclops you should go past the lifepod 12 to that big cavern! It isn't that bad if you have ion powercells and shield module you can go everywhere with cyclops!

So once you get the quarantine zone (collapsed location) if you keep to the left there is a drop off to the lava zone which will take you to the next Alien facility. Thank you for this video I needed to know how to get to the finial location.
There is an easier way to find the lava zone, get the signal for Lifepod 2 (Build a thermal plant) and go to the big cave next to it. It leads you to the ghost forest ( there is a ghost Leviathan) and go down the big drop. You’ll be at the part that connects the bones field, the tree cove, the disease facility, and the ghost forest. Also it’s easier to go this way with the cyclops.
Never tried this but it’s good idea right?! Load inventory with gas pods, stasis rifle the sea dragon in the face, dump the gas pods in his face, scan carcass. That’s how one deals with the final boss right there (I’ve never had the guts to try and kill leviathans, but recently after I killed my first reaper it all just feels so easy if one’s in my way. It’s like an additional, easier solution than running. I guess that means I’ve transcended into a new layer of subnautica player? 🤣)
😏 Welcome to the real subnautica experience. Surviving is just the base game, you are a real subnautica player once you wanna kill everything that kills you. It will take some time to kill the dragon, but not impossible. How a famous meme would say; JUST DO IT, DONT LET A SEA DRAGON BE ALIVE. JUST DO IT

It's easier for me if I go straight to the lifepod in the blood kelp that's right beside the entrance coming in from the grassy platue beside it that also sits beside the underwater islands yes it's got a ton of things that want you dead but you just have to be quick and careful and all will be well

hello, you are welcome. The best entrance for cyclops is from the mountain side ( alien gun). Isn't lifepod 2 guarded by ghost leviathan? Or I'm mixing something up. I always use the blood kelp what's near sand dunes to enter lost river with the cyclops

I found false research base and lost river + lava place from lifepod 2.
Unfortunately that one is too narrow for cyclop. Trying to find this entrance, is it wide enough for cyclop?

The best entrance for cyclops is from the mountain side ( alien gun). Isn't lifepod 2 guarded by ghost leviathan? Or I'm mixing something up.
I always use the blood kelp what's near sand dunes to enter lost river with the cyclops
@@VillainCloud hi and thanks a lot for Quick replay. I've managed to do it from entrance near lifpod2. Was hard and almost got my cyclop destroyed by ghostly wypon. But survived :). Will try to get out later from other side of lost river- perhaps will be out from mentioned by you entrance/exit

I do skip that lifepod 2 entrance. ( At the time I was playing, there were 2 ghost leviathans)
