One of the essential components to Amazon KDP no content and low content book publishing success is picking the right niche. It has to have sufficient customer demand yet be low compeititve or have low competitive sub niches so that the books can be ranked and seen on Amazon. The prompt journal is one such evergreen niche that has a high demand all year round especially during times such as Christmas, Birthday, Mother's Day and Father's Day. The main keyword is very competitive but there are lots of less competitive sub niches that should be easier to rank for. In this video I explore the prompt journal niche, look at some sub-niches, provide some good resources for inspiration and to create the interiors and then explore the all importnat keywords which I am selling on my Gumroad shop (link below). Low content books are a great way to build a side hustle and additional income from home using your laptop or computer.

The Soul Therapy book advertises heavily on Instagram and is written by a therapist. May not be the best example to use for the layperson’s purposes.
The idea is to show there is a market for books in that niche i.e. there are buyers. However, if you look beyond that, there is actually an even bigger opportunity there which I didn't realise at the time.

It's a spreadsheet of keywords. You wouldn't be able to download it to Book Bolt. You could use the list of words in Book Bolt to do further research.

Are you searching on Amazon.com? And if you're using Amazon.com but not based in the US, have you chnage the delivery address to a US address?

Hi Paul, I have been watching a bunch of your videos on niche research. They are great. I have one question. In one of your videos you explain how to check for demand by finding three books on the first search results page that have less than 300,000 BSR. Should these books be from independent publishers or from just any of the books that show up on the first page? I hope that makes sense 😜🤗
It doesn't really matter. The only thing you want to know is - are ther people out there buying books in this niche.

for publishing rights information...but..it's a log book :) - so
I guess the interior is quite the same in any book of this category.
(I made slight changes in the interior design before uploading,
used a different font, and of course the cover is different)

It often gives the instructions in the message that if you believe you do have the rights then re-submit. So, if you've made changes and you feel your interior is original enough then re-submit.

I really don't know why my book not being sold I keep watching your vid and follow almost everything you telling but I have no idea why my books not sold yet, it has been 4months since I started publishing but no sales till now.
There are many factors to getting sales - choice of niche, keywords targeted and how they are used, cover design, pricing, description. Too competitve keywords and cover design is what stops most sales.
Great content Paul! Just downloaded your Prompt Journal Keywords, but am finding some of the counts a bit off. This one "journal with prompts for anxiety" has 1000 result in your spreadsheet, but 20,000 on Amazon? I may be interpreting the data incorrectly?...

hi paul i watch your site every time you bring out new content let me ask you a question I started my amazon ad on the 11 Nov 2021 I got 106,124 impressions 181 clicks and I paid $156 USD I am from Barbados I place an ad for one book a construction manual name the wayne dowridge construction manual is this good or bad
That's a very low click through rate and you are paying a lot for each click.
As far as the shadow journal. That's a pretty good idea. I had not heard of shadow work till recently. I did the eanneergan personality test and it mentions the shadow work your type usually needs to do . Anyhow it was diff then I thought .. I've got a diff niche I'm gonna go for but that's not a bad idea :)( sorry if I spelled the test name wrong) ps I love your gumroad shop!!:)

No you don;t need to. For most people it is the book covers that is causing the problem but could be a number of issues.

In french, prompts means Instructions. People don’t type this Word. I ´ve tries with like Words as challenges, défis but not relevant either. Perhaps you or Your french audience have got a another relevant french keyword for prompts ? Thanks

Hi Paul I have a problem with pricing a hardback cover book I selected the countries Then when it got to pricing the book it wouldn't let me do anything until I found out the problem was I had to put the lowest price in in every country it said if I didn't do that it would affect my royalties? so I altered them to lowest price it recommended and my book went through just low content book. No, but books will have a minimum price at which they can be listed. If your US price was low then after conversion to other currencies that may have taken them to below their minimum level.

Hello Paul, do you know how to update more photos for the low book content, I mean when publishing a book there is no option to upload more different pictures as I saw in other vendors link
It involves setting up and Amazon sellers account, then you have to claim the book as your product and go from there. It’s not a straightforward process.

Hi Paul, we love your videos BUT the example here of the Soul Therapy book is not a great one since the author is a counsellor/therapist etc. Therefore it's obvious why people would go for that rather than any other mortal designing a journal in 2 hours.
They have a marketing channel. Nothing to stop a creative entreprenuer from building an audience and marketing channel either and achieving similar success. For example, why not find a counsellor or therapist, approach them, say your a publisher and can publish a similar book and divide the royalties? Counsellors and therapists have a constant stream of new clients who would be interested in purchasing a book from their therapist. Then find a directory of counsellors, write an email to them all. How long before you have a sizeable number and a very profitable publishing business?
