      K's groundstrokes are solid if they remain low with pace going over the net. When they stay low, the ball is more tighter in the court, when he hits it more than 3 feet above the netcord, aiming higher, the ball tends to sail long on him when hitting it flat so that's the danger for him he has to hit his shots low over the net to stop the ball going long....... On the big serves K. don't always have enough time to turn and hit. So he might want to just stand your ground for those big serves for if he turns his head away from the serve when its coming in toward him he may end up hitting it late.
      K. has enough clearance over the net for that big flat backhand drive, its definitely a weapon because it skims the ball quite nice and low
      and flat over the net going deep. 11;46 At the higher level you need to clear the net lower with the big flat drives because they won't be very effective
      if the ball sits up too much on the baseline if you aim the ball too high over the net. I like how the ball stays down flat and low going deep down into the court to keep the pressure on the other guy for him to have to try to clear over the net and maintain the same speed of velocity to stop himself from hitting short or weak. It puts more pressure on him when your flat drives go deep and stay down low and skim in the court.
      This is totally different tennis to what you see rec club players doing with all the slower loopy tennis. Who hit the ball
      more higher over the net. But at this higher level, the ball is more flatter with the spin.

    This is really helpful Karue. It's good to know that even at high levels of tennis, mistakes happen...however the shots in between mistakes are much smoother and appear to take less effort than what I see at USTA 3.5 and 4.0. This POV makes me want to focus on developing smoother technique not just hitting the ball hard.

      I honestly have no idea what you are talking about, not sure who is Ben. I tend not to watch other tennis creators because I want to stay true to myself. Everyone has their angle and way of teaching and standing out on this platform. ET does a great job. But when it comes of pure match play, those guys couldn't really touch me. I know that might sound cocky but I've looked at their resume as players. Training with pros or having nice technique doesn't mean much. The guys I play here on the channel were and are at the top of the game

    • @raavisandy
      @raavisandy 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@KaruesellHQ I mean no disrespect at all. I have ABSOLUTELY no doubt you will destroy these guys. That’s not cocky at all. But that’s why I said I need a hero like you or someone. On TH-cam there are tons of videos about how to put away or beat a Pusher. But it is very hard to find a demonstration. I am not the only one who is dying to watch how a Pro puts away a pusher. People would love to see what a pro does to junkballers. Because you only see everyone get succumbed to junk ballers. Obviously your level is probably thousand times more than 4.5 player but I feel like someone’s got to do it. ET has easily a million views talking about a good pusher how different people handle it. On a similar level you might be a good match up for tenfitmen and it might be good for both channels. At some point please make a match out of you playing a high level pusher. Love to see it. You I think have best tennis content on all of you tube. Hats off 🙏

      @@micah_wong Get to the ball early... That's the key, get to the ball early to set up and time your shot better. Swinging late or early isn't good or bad, it depends on the scenario. If you want to hit the ball cross court, hit a little earlier, if you want to hit down the line, hit a bit later. It's all about the type of shot you want to hit at that moment. The reason why he was hitting early was because he didn't change the direction of the ball a lot. Most of his rallies were cross-court where he didn't change direction to go down the line, but let his opponent do that instead to have more errors.

    During a rally, do you hold a continental grip or a semi western grip (assuming that's your forehand grip)? What would you recommend for advanced levels?
