Very good video and coverage of the small steps (like removing the bracket rust behind the shims at 9:45). I would add one other point to take a file and clean up the corners of the area you wire brushed. The wire brushes to a good job on the flat areas, but a file is needed to get in the corners and just a little rust will freeze the new pads in place. REALLY nice job cleaning the bolt threads too!
At 15:58: _"Using this because it is hard"_ Most likely it is because *you are duing it wrong.* It seems that you didn't put rear brake into Maintenance Service Mode

The rubber bushing on the slider is to stop vibration and noise from the brakes.

Maintenance Mode is only needed for the electronic parking brake. This was a good old mechanical brake. No?
@@MrMattDat , this car model exists ONLY with the electric parking brake
@@FirstNameLastName-ov3cw Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I own a 2013 and a 2015 CX5. Both have the mechanical parking brake.
@@MrMattDat , then I am wrong and Mazda CX-5 got electric parking brake since 2016. Thanks for correcting me.
