Great Beat! I was wondering how stable has the maschine plus been for you? I’ve seen a lot of videos stating that it has freezing and cpu issues. How have you managed to still create great music on the plus? Do you have any advice for maschine plus users?

Thanks! 👊🏻 it’s stable, been using it on a regular basis without issues. I had like a few freezes like two years ago, never any cpu issues. Maybe I’m not pushing it to the max 🤷🏼‍♂️ I flip records, add drums, bass and maybe a fill sound.

So the + can do the same thing as the Mk3

Yes and being in standalone mode. Unfortunately you can’t load all your Kontakt instruments or third party in standalone, but if you hook it up to the computer it becomes a MK3 then you have access to everything.

@@BoombapArt Thanks for the reply. I’ve watched several videos on the topic of Plus vs MK3 and I’m just trying to figure out if the plus is really worth it since I don’t plan on taking it anywhere and save money by buying the MK3.

@704queencitygoon6 I like the idea of not being hooked up to the computer, so for me using M+ it’s just grabbing a record, start sampling and cooking, however I also like hooking it up and have access to all my libraries and other VSTs. Been using the M+ for quite a while, but it took some time to do everything standalone compared to moving some midi with a mouse click in the software.. and in terms of performance it comes down to your computer if you’re rocking the MK3.

Bro, if you use Maschinen plus as a standalone, how do you make your beats loud or mix them? In contrast to controller mode, the selection of plugins is very limited. For example, I like to use the Fabfilter plugins. They are easy to use, but very effective. I would miss them in the standalone. And btw it's cool that you're on TH-cam.

Agree, it is limited in terms of mixing/mastering tools.. but I track out my beats in Adobe Audition with some headroom and then add a limiter when I edit the video. I suck at mixing.. I do everything else in standalone mode, leveling and some minor eq.
