i love how considerate you were with this, when other people have done this they go through it all nosey and weird, but you were SO considerate with this and treating it like a little detective job and i loved that!
This case makes total sense... all inclusive holiday where you don't plan on leaving the hotel much.. all you need is bikinis, cover-ups, and a few outfits. Half the case is in her partners case if she is anything like me, she just flung it all in & had no room left for it. With the none matching bikinis... bigger booked lassies struggle to get a matching set this makes sence to me too
I found this so interesting! The fact that nearly everything still had a label on makes me think that the case got lost en route to the destination. I feel bad for the person who owned it, they obviously had a major shopping spree and never got to wear any of it, I'd be gutted! Hope it didn't ruin their holiday. I would love to see more videos like this! 💓
Please do another one to compare! If the other one also had loads of tags on and similar brands then its likely to be a scam, but if its completely different it could be legit! Would be good to compare xx
This is so trampy though. I hate ordering things to find they’ve been worn by someone else from the orange foundation marks, then sent back.. disgusting cretins🤢
They absolutely go through the stuff before they can resell it. Safiya has done some great videos about how this all works. Legally they have to go through the cases and remove anything that could be dangerous to resell etc.
She isn't saying bags don't get lost she's saying she doesn't know if this specific website is legit or not also she's not buying this in America bc she's not American so she's buying this from somewhere completely different from Saf
It would definitely be messed up as the case has been searched through to take out stuff out before they go to auction. I'm one of those people who leave tags on things I've bought for holiday, in case I end up not liking/wearing them, so I can return them when I'm home! I do think it's probability genuine, don't think they'll have added extra stuff but maybe taken things out. A lot of people now take essentials in hand luggage (so some wash bits, make up etc...) in case their checked luggage gets lost.
I think someone went shopping while on holiday and put all their new stuff in that suitcase. The suitcase even looked new. If so they may not have tagged it right and it got lost from the rest of their luggage. Love you Sophie
I’ve seen so many of these hauls and I’ve never seen anything in my size! That was refreshing! As a plus size girlie, I feel bad for that girl who lost their luggage! Plus size clothes are hard to find! (I’ll adopt!! Haha!!)
Someone (HopeScope maybe?) intentionally left a piece of luggage on a plane to see if it would show up on the lost luggage website, and it did. So I don't think they're a scam. I wouldn't be too surprised if they take some good things out through. And the website did say they remove things with personal information, so they have to go through it pretty well I would think. And they're not gonna be neat about putting it back in the suitcase.
I think Hopescope has also put a 5$ bill in her suitcase, and when she bought it back from the website, money wasn't there. So they are definitely taking valuables from the suitcases before they sell them.
My theory: This person bought themselves lots of new clothes before their beach holiday, a nice little wardrobe update. But their suitcase didn't make it to their destination :( And I would also bet that some things have been removed, like you said they remove anything identifiable so someone definitely looks though it before they sell! Maybe in this suitcase's attempts to be reunited with its owner it got bashed around a bit, and if they had a toiletry bag something in it exploded (We've all been there) and so when going through the luggage they just chucked whatever was in that bag. Thanks for coming to my tedtalk.
Please do this again to see if another suitcase is similar vibes to this or actually has toiletries in it or maybe it’s a cold destination holiday! I’d like to see the comparison ❤
Always so interesting to see these ☺️ As lots of other people have said, the state of the suitcase will be because as stated on the website, they search and remove anything that provides personal details! As for the lack of more expensive items, that’s likely because the person had all those things in their carry on? I never travel overseas without my electronics, makeup, some underwear and other essentials such as medicine in my carry on so if my other stuff gets lost I at least have those bits with me! 👍🏼❤️

I do this too. When I go on holoday and have bought/ordered neew stuff it usually arrives at the last second so I just shove it in and at the end of the trip there might be things that could be returned because the lables are on and I didn’t use it. But I’d be mad if it got lost. Mussing the fun of wearing the stuff and money lost because there is nothing to return😅
The thing is, there are a lot of good quality clothes in there, plus what looks like a pretty expensive suitcase, so if they were scammers, how would they be making any money😅

My carry-on bag contains all of my toiletries, makeup, brushes, blow dryer, etc, plus a change of clothing. I don't put any of those things in my larger checked suitcases because those are things you really need if your suitcase gets lost or delayed. That suitcase seems like the person's second suitcase for mainly their beach clothing. Maybe they had another suitcase for their everyday pants, shirts, warm sweater, night clothes, etc.
She obviously went shopping for her vacay and didn't wash them, just packed. The airport took everything out of the cubes to search for contraband. Being a big girl, she only has a limited amount of labels for plus sizes to choose from. Or, she stole it all and didn't want to get caught trying to retrieve her suitcase!
Thanks for the video really enjoyed it. I definitely think option 2. So many clothes with labels on but no toiletries bag/ make up/ skin care or even a hair brush just very strange. I wonder if they have a deal with some clothing companies to buy end of line clothes for super cheap and then sort by size and pile them into suitcases (starting to realise I’m sounding a bit of a conspiracist 😂) On a side note, love your jumper ☺️
This would be similar to finding my suitcase. Sizes are similar to my own. When I pack for Holiday I usually have about 80% new stuff. There's something about popping the tags on a new outfit every day of my trip that just makes it feel that much more special.
My brother moved to London and started traveling a bunch. He said he loses suitcases 1/3 of the time he flies so now he buys cheap clothes he doesn't care about losing on holiday. I definitely wouldn't pack some of my favorite clothes to fly with in case they got lost.
When I went on holiday I bought a tracker and threw it in there when in the plane the signal is wonkey but said it was over the ocean lol but when we landed and got good signal I new exactly where it was
Tbh, that's why I always travel only with a carry on! You would be surprised how much you can pack in a small bag (the airports are always surprised how mine is so small xD) if you just make it smaller enough. Few days of holidays is certainly not a problem for me!
I agree with you. I will go with option 3, because if it was on the way to the destination the items would be packed in the cubes. It’s obvious they’re checking these before selling them.
Really good video found this interesting to watch. And that everything still has the tags on them i think that the case got lost before it went to route to the destination they were going on holiday
I think this is real because firstly the empty bags are packing cubes so whoever packed the bag in the first instance would have put the clothing in there neatly folded, and at the airport/the luggage company you bought from, the stuff would have been emptied out to search thoroughly for identification and illegal substances. Then, all the clothing would have cost quite a bit of money to buy so combine those with the Birkenstocks (which can be like £60+ a pair) and the actual suitcase, the value of the entire luggage way surpasses £79.99. I would probably pack a pair of socks for my airport outfit going home after a holiday so the socks make sense. And for me, the bikinis make sense as a sort of mix and match situation - odd tops and bottoms can be worn together and maybe that's the thinking behind that. And sizes 14-20 seem fair too, as you mentioned clothing sizes are really variable in women's clothing shops. My wardrobe looks pretty much the same in terms of sizing. I genuinely believe this is real as ultimately the company providing the luggage can't be making that much profit once you minus the value of the goods and the work involved to pack them and list them and ship them out. Also as a side note, you're so adorable haha xx
Yay, so excited for this video! Seeing a notification from you is the highlight of my day and you never fail to entertain me. Thanks for always providing us with top notch content. Love to you and the family :) Xx ❤️
The toiletrie bags are packing cubes for organisation and space saving. A lot of people buy all new clothes for their holiday keep the tags on so they can sell them or send them back for a refund if they don’t wear it on the holiday. Funnily enough, all these items are my size 🤣💜
When I go on vacation I literally always just order a bunch of stuff from pretty little thing, boohoo, nasty gal etc. And I leave all the tags on. It makes it so much easier to pack when you know exactly what you’re bringing.
Option 3 for sure! Haha! Where are the toiletries? Where are the electronics? Where are the food items that you can’t bring back on your carry-on, or items that can only be in checked baggage? You can’t even make a whole outfit out of most of those clothes ( I feel like an experienced traveler knows to pack a “capsule wardrobe” and any inexperienced traveler would probably look up packing videos on TH-cam…) It’s missing essential baggage things. But having said that, it’s an expensive suitcase, so you’ve made your money back for sure!
I think they search the lost luggage themselves, keep the good stuff, throw the rest back in and sell it again. But you got quite lucky with the Birkenstocks, they look new and they are actually quite expensive and on top of that you got a „new“ suitcase.
This actually seems legit! The clothes might have been in the packing cubes originally but they were taken out to find any ‘identification items’ and then everything stuffed back in. And if this case was lost on the way out to its destination they might’ve purchased a bunch of new clothes but left the tags on in case they didn’t use something and wanted to return it after the holiday
Sooo as someone who works in hotels in tourist destinations in Spain, i can definately say that people can wear a different bikini daily! And about the washbag...maybe they took it in board with them through security? Thats why its not there? Good thing, no clothes BUT they can brush their teeth! Haha enjoyed this detective-ness.
The airport probably took everything out of those storage bags to rummage through, see if anything in there that shouldnt be and just dumped it all back in. Pity the lady who got to her holiday and ended up with no suitcase, re purchase everything aaargh!
Me! I would bring that many bikinis on holiday because I love options. Plus, i mix and match my bikinis, so the pink doesn't need a matching bottom. They have like 10 black ones that match, haha.
Iuse the packing cubes when going on holidays but just throw everthing in together when coming home. If I've bought new clothes and don't wear them the tags will still be on them so could still be legit. There seems to be a lack of shoes and toiletries that would mke me question its legitimacy. But maybe they went through the case and took all the good stuff. Def option 3
They do open the luggage to make sure there’s no personal effects. That’s why it’s so rummaged and sloppy. But I’ve also seen airport lost auctions where they are auctioning off makeup, perfumes and high end products.
I always buy new stuff and throw it in my suit case. it seems like she did a clothing haul for a cruise? sometimes they have fancy dinners... or maybe a spring break trip...
Maybe the wearer planned to return all the items after vacation. 😂 Def makes sense if they lost it on the way, could you imagine, that would be horrible! Also, can confirm my sister takes that many for vacation 😅
Personally because I only travel once or twice a year I often buy new clothing and just pack them with the tags on. I also tend to over pack so I don’t wear everything I pack. I can see someone who is trying to impress changing their bathing suit each day with their outfit in a beach setting. The pink top probably is to be worn with one of the black bottoms. The piece of fabric is a head scarf, possibly one to protect their hair while sleeping. The missing toiletries were most likely in their carry on. The small bags in the luggage aren’t toiletry bags. They’er clothing organizers bags. Every thing may still be there, but has definitely been gone through by someone at some point. Probably to remove any personal information.
I think the bags could be empty because they were searching for some kind of identification of the person the bag belongs too, and the labels are still on because they may have bought it for the trip, but if they chose not to wear it, they could return it. 🤷🏽♀️
I never see any of these things in my size I'm actually pleasantly surprised. I wish I would have actually gotten this one. A lot of this I would actually wear😊😊
Maybe they went to a beach holiday with as few clothing items as possible, did a lot of shopping there and left the luggage on their way back at the airport on purpose because they learnt about import taxes? (And all the important things were in their carry on bag)
The website stated that bags will have been checked for personal details, no doubt whoever checks them probably just tosses the stuff back in. You’ve got a fairly good deal with mostly new labelled items that you can put on vented or ebay
I reckon they were going somewhere far that is hot! Especially as it’s from heathrow and kept a lot of their luggage in their cabin bag. I know a lot girls who keep their make up in their cabin bag to put make up on when they land! I definitely think you should get another one to test! It’s a good video
In the US I believe there are like places where they take the nicer stuff out of luggage and sell it all at once. I'm just gonna say if this is real and there are people out there like this... wash your clothes before wearing them you freaks!! Clothes are laying on floors with rats and sprayed with chemicals and everything else during shipping/storage.
I think it’s either a case that got lost on the way to a destination and was removed from the packing cases by the people who search it for dangerous or personal items. Or a second case on the way back from a holiday. They put all the new stuff they didn’t wear in one case (probably left the tags on so they could return anything they didn’t wear) & put all their worn items in another case. Whenever I’ve travelled I tend to do the latter as I always travel with my husband. I always pack way more than my him so I can fit all my dirty clothes in with his stuff.
The packing cubes are probably empty because they had to go through it to look for anything that had personal information on it and they weren't going to bother replacing everything back into the packing cubes. They went through everything to check and shoved it all back in the suitcase without reorganizing it. Which would explain why everything is such a mess in the suitcase. Also for any lack of toiletries or balance of socks etc if I'm going away for long enough I check two bags. Usually only one of them has my toiletries and other things in it. Also I just recently took a trip to Mexico and almost all of the clothes I took with me had labels on them. I absolutely use vacations as an excuse to buy myself new clothes. And yes I took about six bikinis with me. Why because I wanted to because I liked wearing a different one each day. Especially since they only cost me a few bucks on Temu each ;-) The amount of new clothes with tags in there and the quality of the actual suitcase makes me think that this is legit and not a scam because I don't understand how for the price they sold it to you for they would possibly be making any money off of this. Lost luggage auctions are a real thing.. The person who's bag got lost got paid out through travel insurance and the bags just sit around otherwise so donating and reselling is the only option left unless you want it just go to a dumpster. All that said, I don't believe for one second that they don't take/ keep things that are truly valuable. I just don't trust people that much. Lol. I do however highly doubt that they're buying extra things to fill the rest of the space with. I love you but I think you're trying too hard to convince yourself that this is a scam. 😅
These are lost at the airport so when they are lost airport security has to go through everything to make sure there are no drugs or anything like that. After they go through it they dont fold it bavk they just chuck it back in usually. As far as toiletries and things either they bought them where they went which I've done to save weight/space and just don't have to worry about leakage. Or they were checked for drugs and things and chucked in the bin after. Or they have make-up and toiletries in their carry-on luggage/purse. I dont know if this company takes things out but i believe this a real suitcase of someone that got lost on the way to holiday. Ive bought things specifically for holiday that i just packed without taking tags and things off just in case i didnt wear it or like it because it arrived just before leaving and i couldnt try it on.
I think option 3 as someone that loves a beach holiday and buys new stuff, I would never have just new clothes, there would be some older stuff too. Toiletries I usually put them in travel size bottles and put them in my carry on bag, but shampoo etc would be in the suitcase. For the clothes that are fancy I doubt 1 pair of birkins would be for the pool and nights out. I would have separate shoes even if they aren't heels. No pjays no Shavers (even if waxed hairs grow so wax strips) no hand bags for carrying money phone and hotel key. So many items are missing for a girls suitcase it doesn't add up unless she had an extra suitcase
I think it’s option 3 because the clothes having tags and being from the same places kinda makes sense to me as a plus size person bcus there’s only so many places that do cute clothes and a big sizes but there was no shoes, hair tools or even toiletries, I don’t take shampoo conditioner or body wash abroad but I do take toothbrush toothpastes deodorant, there’s no makeup either
after the bags are left after a certain amount of time, they have to open them up and search them for contraband and if nothing is found they just throw everything back in and contact the lost luggage sellers. that is if contacting the owner wasnt possible. always have a luggage tag with your contact info. hell, just an email if u dont want your number out there for random people to see.
I vote option 3! Most of the stuff was new with tags I feel like most people would at least pack 70-80% of their own stuff! I didn’t see a single warm piece of clothing for potentially a rainy day while on holiday!
The idea is people travel with electronics etc. You could get a suitcase with thousands of dollars worth of stuff. Same idea as the Amazon return pallets etc. There are definitely some scam sites.
I buy loads of new stuff to go away anywhere, so if my case ever went awol there'd be plenty with tags on! Also, on the return journey my stuff is never back neatly in those packing cubes!! haha.
I think her suitcase probably got lost while she was travelling to her holiday destination. Poor girl! It was probably an awful holiday for her. It doesn’t seem like she had much money since her clothes are all Primark and boohoo. I reckon they probably kept her electronics (what girl goes on holiday without her hair dryer and straightener) and probably threw away her makeup/toiletries for hygiene reasons.
No way!!!! That’s mine from years ago got lost going to Florida first time ever going on vacation or getting on a plane did not know what to pack lmao 😂😂😂 that’s what flying spirit gets you they lost it and could not find it ever again till today 😂😂😂😂😂
Option 3. But I keep my makeup in my carryon. Not risking having it lost, and when I go to a resort I have taken up to 8 swimsuits. The sellers def went through the case for expensive items.
I feel like this is a massive swizz because there would be make-up, toiletries, tech and all sorts in there if it was a real untouched holiday suitcase. Either they took out all the stuff they could re-sell or it's just a bunch of remaindered clothes in a random bag.
Omg Sophie, please can I buy the starry night t shirt off you? We had the song at my lovely Dads funereal. It’ll be big on me but perfect nighty. I know you’re not Vinted but I’d love it. Thank you xxx
People put their essential toiletries and chargers and stuff in their carryon. This is definitely checked luggage. That's why the essentials are not in it. That's how I pack, anyway. Lol. People going on a special vacation will buy all new clothes for it, so very legit. Way more costly to make a scam like this than they would get. Ive seen others get some very used yucky things in baggage like this, definitely end of trip for those rather than beginning of trip like this one. You were lucky. The super yuck factor in this one is the underwear. No tags, so probably used but hopefully clean as they were leaving on vacation not coming back. Very interesting to see.
I think they have to search through the bags for ID or illegal substances. So makes sense that it was opened and rummaged through.
thats true ❤
and take anything of value
@@ellenhynes8349 yes! They can't let people actually get anything of value lol.

Some people just by all new clothes for holiday, leave the tags on in case they don’t wear them and then return the ones they haven’t used
Loved this vid Sophie, please do more 😺😁 xx 🖤
thank youuuu ❤
I agree with you. I will go with option 3, because if it was on the way to the destination the items would be packed in the cubes. It’s obvious they’re checking these before selling them.
yeahh definitely option 3 ❤
Really good video found this interesting to watch. And that everything still has the tags on them i think that the case got lost before it went to route to the destination they were going on holiday
Always happy to get notifications for your videos. They probably had other luggage, for their own clothes and bought new ones as well
aw thank you! ❤
All in my size! I'll happily have that jaq bucket hat! Xx
I will never get bored of these videos AND mystery boxes more pleaseeee, they’ve also got lost packages if you wouldn’t mind 👀🙏🏻😂
ooo might have to do that next ❤
#3 for sure they have taken out all the good things or anything that would make it fun but they definitely go through it
Yay, so excited for this video! Seeing a notification from you is the highlight of my day and you never fail to entertain me. Thanks for always providing us with top notch content. Love to you and the family :) Xx ❤️
aw thank you so much ❤
Oooh Sophie interesting video for you loved this so much ❤❤
thank you so much!! ❤
This for me screams "I just came from Spain and clothes are f cheap" 🤣🤣
The zebra “napkin” is a scarf 😂😂 not a warm one but a fashion one x
The toiletrie bags are packing cubes for organisation and space saving.
A lot of people buy all new clothes for their holiday keep the tags on so they can sell them or send them back for a refund if they don’t wear it on the holiday.
Funnily enough, all these items are my size 🤣💜
You got this for a steal 😭this person packed exactly how I would for a beach trip, so I think it’s legit. Poor girl lost her Birkenstocks too
When I go on vacation I literally always just order a bunch of stuff from pretty little thing, boohoo, nasty gal etc. And I leave all the tags on. It makes it so much easier to pack when you know exactly what you’re bringing.
It might actually be genuinely lost luggage. There is a store called unclaimed luggage thats been selling peoples lost items for decades.
oooh i see! ❤
But having said that, it’s an expensive suitcase, so you’ve made your money back for sure!
yeah i agree! got my moneys worth for sure but someone definitely taken stuff out ❤
Love the video can’t wait for the next one and love your sweater🧡🧡🧡
thank you!! ❤
@@sophielouuuise your so sweet🧡🧡🧡
I think they search the lost luggage themselves, keep the good stuff, throw the rest back in and sell it again.
But you got quite lucky with the Birkenstocks, they look new and they are actually quite expensive and on top of that you got a „new“ suitcase.
i think option 3! please do more this was so fun❤
i agree! yay glad u enjoyed it ❤
I’d wear all of this😂 should have bought it
This actually seems legit!
Also, this is a brilliant idea, please do more ❤
thank you!! ❤
Let’s have more detective soph vids!
Pity the lady who got to her holiday and ended up with no suitcase, re purchase everything aaargh!
ahh i know, if its legit i feel bad for her ❤
I mean you do get a suitcase with it, and those can get pricey ☝️ also love your outfit for this video!
You need to do more videos had me creasing up 😂❤❤
Me! I would bring that many bikinis on holiday because I love options. Plus, i mix and match my bikinis, so the pink doesn't need a matching bottom. They have like 10 black ones that match, haha.
ahh maybe its believable then! ❤
And who goes on holiday and throws the clothes in! They would fold! So they definitely go through it all!! Xxx
Aww… your sweater(dress) 😊I love it!
They do open the luggage to make sure there’s no personal effects. That’s why it’s so rummaged and sloppy. But I’ve also seen airport lost auctions where they are auctioning off makeup, perfumes and high end products.
thats true! ❤
its possible! ❤
I think option 3 is the most realistic for sure ❤😂
The website stated that bags will have been checked for personal details, no doubt whoever checks them probably just tosses the stuff back in. You’ve got a fairly good deal with mostly new labelled items that you can put on vented or ebay
So glad to see again! What an interesting video! IMO I feel it’s a scam. It’s purely a business. But, I loved yr video! So much fun! ❤❤
thank you so much! ❤
Especially since they only cost me a few bucks on Temu each ;-)
The amount of new clothes with tags in there and the quality of the actual suitcase makes me think that this is legit and not a scam because I don't understand how for the price they sold it to you for they would possibly be making any money off of this.
haha yeah i think it probably is someone's lost luggage.. but i still wonder if the company took out any valuable stuff first ❤
@@sophielouuuise Probably yeah.
Ive bought things specifically for holiday that i just packed without taking tags and things off just in case i didnt wear it or like it because it arrived just before leaving and i couldnt try it on.
yeah i think i agree! seems like genuine lost luggage but i do wonder if the company takes out valuable items to sell separately ❤
I’ve been waiting fir a video 🙌🏻
I love that XL Primark shirt!! Looks like you’re opening my luggage 😂😂
aww haha ❤
I reckon they probably kept her electronics (what girl goes on holiday without her hair dryer and straightener) and probably threw away her makeup/toiletries for hygiene reasons.
yeah i feel bad for her if this is legit! ❤
I go without hair electronics because I've curly hair... so can believe
I love when you upload ❤
❤❤❤
No way!!!! That’s mine from years ago got lost going to Florida first time ever going on vacation or getting on a plane did not know what to pack lmao 😂😂😂 that’s what flying spirit gets you they lost it and could not find it ever again till today 😂😂😂😂😂
Btw there’s no toiletries because I was just going to buy them their and discard of them when I left
Thank you xxx
do you have instagram? if yes send me a dm with your address and i'll post it to you. you dont have to pay, i wasnt going to keep it anyway ❤
@@sophielouuuiseI’ll message you xx
This is funny. I pack all the swimsuits. The empty bags are because you shop on vacation so it's to bring things home.
Very interesting to see.
yeaaah you might be right! still wonder if the company took out any valuable stuff though ❤
SO SWEET
❤❤
Can you tell me whichone website. Because i want to buy ....?
How many days did it delivered upon purchasing in the site?
