One of the best filmed shows of working on the 718 ... Really helpful and showed exactly what you need to do to remove the headlights and bumper . Highly recommended...
@@Arashwrapper I was joking when I typed that. I imagine it's much easier to plug them in than unplug them. Seriously though, your video from four years ago was a huge help at work today. I'll find out how bad it is to reassemble after paint. Disassembling the bumper cover was equally as fun, good thing for six pocket flat head screwdrivers!
@@disgruntledegghead6923 actually after this car till now I worked with more than 50 Porsches and it got way easier for me Good luck with ur project And appreciate for ur sweet words 🫶🙏🙏
Great video. Procedure is the same for the 981 models as well. Thank you for spending the time on unclipping the wiring harness under the headlights that is a tricky and hard to reach spot you made it easier.
Great video. I found it a lot easier to put the car in the air, remove the front wheels, then remove the front fender liner. Gives much, much easier access to the two electrical plugs (the brown ones he releases with the long screwdriver) and the headlight wiper spray tube on the driver's side. Saves like 50% frustration. Also, used a 90 degree pliers for the two top clips and it was a lot easier than the 90 degree pointed pry tool.
For anyone looking for the headlight part. He unfortunately doesn't remove it on this video... But this video tells you how to get to it.... I discovered that you don't have to remove the two bolts.. you can just loosen them a little and the headlight will slide out... After you see how shitty it is to get to the second bolt you'll thank whatever God you pay to that you don't. Lol
I do have another video about Porsche 911 which is 100% same way to get bumper and headlights remove This is the linkth-cam.com/video/5zr1PzKXuwY/w-d-xo.html

Glad to hearing that 😍thanks for watching
Great video! Those electrical connectors were for the parking distance sensors, right?
Very helpful! The real fun comes when you have to plug the two harnesses back in...
Exactly that’s most difficult part😫
