Excellent walk through. It's cool to see how Porsche has designed this for maintainability.

Excellent video! Saved my life! Lol. I was installing a light bar which was one piece w the Script. Installing the base first then simply snapping on the script made it possible per your video. Genius! Side note: backup camera now not working. I probably disconnected the camera and didn’t notice it when I reattached the bumper. No big deal .. will have at it again in a few days. Thanks

Nice! I want to see pics of the light bar setup you got. Send via IG if you can. The camera is surely one of the connections behind the taillights. I would start with the right side.

Will do. The light bar was defective - not powering up so they’re sending me a new one. Meaning I’ll have to drop the bumper again. Be glad to send you pics when completed. I’m hoping camera’s not working from a simple disconnect🤞but I’ll have to live without a backup camera for a minute until it’s time to drop the bumper again.

Fantastic video series. I greatly appreciate your attention to detail and get camera work and added painted images for greater clarity.

Watching the video to take apart a 2024 718 boxster with the moving spoiler, they are also T30's underneath. Video said T25's but this one with 500 miles is T30's. Guessing the other car you used for reference has been worked on.
Hoping those T30's that are hiding under the spoiler are all I need to remove on the top. I'll let you know if I have any trouble removing the bumper. Not sure if the rubber grommet looking clips on each end have to be removed as well.

Thanks for reporting back. Be sure to check out the forum post that is linked in the description below the video. That information comes from a Boxster

718 GT4 - I Removed the 4 hex bolts and removed the painted top piece of the tail, and removed the two hex bolts that secure the plastic section, but it won’t budge? How do I open the tail when the car is parked? Do I have to do this to reveal some bolts that I can’t see because the tail is currently in the closed position? The is no button in the car to lift it open.

There’s nothing to remove at that point. You have to remove all other fasteners to remove the bumper.
