As usual, your video release is perfectly timed. Now I can do this with a better understanding of all that needs to come off. Time to clear the little radiators of debris and touch up the bumper!
Thanks, Cliff... You made that very easy and straightforward. Wish I had seen this a month ago when I had to replace the low-tone horn in my 987 Cayman!
On my 987.1, I didn't need to disconnect the wiring harness at 7:10, but I did need to disconnect a wiring harness on the passenger side that is bigger. I broke of the connecting clip on that harness, so be careful!
Quick one ref the slide clips - they stick because of the weight of the bumper pulling again the part the lock into - hold the bumper underneath and lift to remove the pulling force and these clips just pull right on out
Cliff - you are very knowledgeable, a great teacher/explainer, and not bad as a promoter/salesman. Thank you!
This is the best tutorial I've seen on removal of the front bumper cover for the Cayman.
Really been meaning to clean my radiators, thanks for the best bumper removal video on TH-cam!

To remove the two clips gently lift the bumper and pull the clip with a bent screw type driver.
good information! It has helped me to remove the bumper quickly🙌🏼
Glad it helped!

Hey cliff, I was wondering what wing you have on your car?
Thank you for this video
The clips that are near the headlights, I used wd40 and sprayed them so they slide on easier.
Good idea. Thanks!
Hi Cliff. Would you make a video about removing the headliner? I think it would be very helpful for many Cayman 987 owners.
I’ll second this !! I need to do mine in my 987.2 now - of course I had to pay a ton of money for some shop to do my 987.1
Do you have a part number for the problematic clips?
992-807-891
Thanks👍
For what you are going through is enough reason to not buy a cayman
