Does your dog rush after the toy when you’re trying to pick it up

While playing with Zorro we had a moment where he went after the toy when I was reaching for it.
While not terrible, he’s just excited to play but this could lead to an accidental nip. On me or his owner that may not be so bad but it could problematic if someone else is trying to play and he does that.
We want to teach Zorro how to have patience. When he has patience the game starts back up faster.
