I just bought (and have not picked up yet) a brand new (same color - black) Honda Pilot Ex-L and i'm going from a 2012 (which I absolutely loved) to this one the 2025 EX-L. So many new features to love. I'm not totally intimidated with all the new technology, but i'm trying to get out in front of that day (Monday 4/22) when I go to my local Everett MA dealer and get it. Needed a few things, like I added the body side molding which it used to come with and of course the Honda Mat package but, the amazing things that come standard are incredible.
Thanks for taking me on the test drive, still more to learn - basic stuff, but going from 2012 to 2025 is a huge jump in upgrades, but all is good .. thanks and nice job on this tour!

Nice video bro and I would consider buy this.
I have a 2023 Pilot Elite , so exactly the same as you drove in this video.
No issues at all as of yet.
Incredible amount of storage space and very comfortable.
I think it is fairly priced for what you get. Certainly competitive pricewise with Mazda and Toyota.
Is the blind spot monitoring "amber cars" in the mirrors with the pilots...or on the inside trim, like I have now on my 2016 Acura? I really like when it is inside, as it is not diminished by after-market window tint and/or rain on the mirror itself.
@@ofcbob6391 The orange collision avoidance light {two orange cars} are located on the upper outer edge of each side mirror.
One of the best reviews
It’s been quite a long time seeing your reviews
And it’s always great 👍
You should have at lest 600K followers
You have good camera angels and great energy along with short and breve information in regards of trims and prices
Have a wonderful time and more perfect reviews as usual
My regards from 🇸🇦 god place
If one doesn't mind the placement of the third row vents, he/she won't go wrong buying this cuv, if they afford the priice. Thanks for a great review, as usual.
4:19 V6 sounds great!
I like the car but I hate that obsession lately for replace the old school shifter for knobs or bottoms.
I did too until I started using one, it's amazing and much easier and feels more modern
I dont like the knobs and buttons either. I just am not a fan of the push button shifter. I like a rotary knob better. You have to not feel but look to see what gear your in.
@@modernsoccer1860if it malfunctions your in trouble
Great video. How many watts is the bose 12 speakers system ?
I have the 2024 pilot elite was hoping that you would go over changes.
Yes. I am about to buy a Honda pilot. I need to know if I can just buy a 2023 (new design, nervous about this) or 2024. And 2025 if all the kinks and issues were updated
Great review but the price is outrageous. Once again you are the best!
Appreciate it! 🙏
Same price as other competitors.
@@fredmoss4540 The problem with the Pilot Cost is what you get. You get junk tires that need replacement at 30K miles, costly timing belt replacement at 100K miles, poor fuel economy, slow acceleration, a small infocenter.
Bought the 2019 Pilot and I ended up bringing it back to Honda after 2 years. On the first month I already encountered an issue. When it hits the 1st and 2nd year more issues arose. Though its still under warranty, I don't want to keep coming back for them to check it. They never solved my issues too. I don't know if I still want to consider buying Pilot.
Ugh!! I really want to trade in my 2019 for a new one but i HATE the infotainment system sticking out of the dash and i don't like the storage hump between seats. I like the armrests and the flat storage top for my eggs, takeout, etc.. I'll probably keep mine.
Saving money for this
Is the remote start standard on all of them?
why on earth would they fake the exhaust? That seems so silly. Either have them be rectangular pipes or just have a normal rear bumper. It is just another thing to get damaged if you bump into something.
Did they do away with the forward facing camera in 2025?
Big Changes? Please.
Can’t wait for the 2025 ridgeline
Only time you’re going to see the Ridgeline’s name in 2025 is on its gravestone.
my guess it will be same as 2024
The failure of Honda to not completely redesign the 2024 Ridgeline has made me go to alternate choice. That is this exact vehicle the now 2025 Honda Pilot Elite trim.
We have had 2007 Ridgeline in family for 17yrs. So new vehicle would not have been replacement but replacing my 2000 Acura 3.2TL.
Any significant changes from 2024 models?
No just added a trim and deleted a trim. Also some seat configuration change as to how now offered in some trim.
Would still get the palisade over this if you were shopping today?
Both are solid picks, but personally, I'd go Highlander Hybrid. Same size essentially but with 36mpgs. Plus, I recently read an article about one in Florida going over 1M miles.
Very annoyed that I can't get parking sensors on a Pilot Sport.
Like comeon man, not even an option for it (arghhhh).
Just go EX-L, then --- but I want the dark headliner, those of us with kids or makeup happy teens/wifes aren't kind to your regular headliner color.
No thanks to the Trailsport, I'd rather buy a 4 Runner for dedicated offroading, plus let's be honest that 3rd row is not meant for even 3 kids. So trailsport is really more of a 6 seater!
Has Honda caught on that people want the shifter stick put back into the Pilot instead of the da?n buttons? Are they still using the crummy timing belt that costs about $2,000 to replace at 100,000 miles? Long past are the days when Honda was designed and built in Japan. The Pilot is about equal to Ford or GM in terms of parts life, had Gen 2 and 3 pilots lets just say lots of costly repairs just like American SUV nameplates.

25s only have 1 year oil/maintenance now, not 2. Basically you get 2 oil changes.
Fogs come standard in Touring and above.
So no changes for 2025....just more exspensive!
Nice car but 52k for a Honda Pilot is crazy 😂
yeah, stepping into Acura MDX territory at $52K.
Acura integra type s doesn’t have power or air vents in the rear, manual adjusting passenger seat & the rear seats don’t match the front seats & no driver seat memory. Very similar cost. It’s crazy how little you get for your money.
Everything in the segment is expensive. Toyota GH is over 56k, pallisade is 55k, Kia is expensive and VW can be too. Pilot at 52k is for elite. The touring and EXL are actually priced nice at 45k or 49k.
So what it deserves
This is about right price for this vehicle. This is Top of line Pilot the Black Edition is just appearance package but same as Elite. It's in line with other vehicles in this market. That would be KIA Telluride,Hyundai Palisade, They may give you a slight more premium interior luxury feel.
The Pilot prioritize Driving Dynamics in watching other TH-cams. So it handles road imperfections a little better.
But it's same as other competitors.
Your going to pay in the 60K range for Acura MDX. So you would have to get AWD Acura MDX with Advance Package to get somewhat same features as Pilot Elite. The 360 Multi-View Camera System, The ventilated front seats Heads-Up Display, The 2nd Row Heated Outboard seats removable storage 2nd Row center seat.
Your basically getting the same AWD System IVTM4 in Honda vs Acura Super Handling AWD in MDX. It was upgraded on the 4th Generation Pilot. The TrailSport Pilot was tweaked a bit more.
So my point you couldn't just go buy a AWD Acura MDX and have same features. You would have to get advanced package on Acura to match features on Pilot Elite. But the Acura would give more premium features.
I thought it wouldn’t have a third row
Same thing as 2023
What is the difference between the 2024 and 2025???
nothing! They just charge more money!!!🤣
They added the Black Edition and Deleted the LX trim. Seat configuration in some changed from previous year.
Any motor changes from 23, 24 and 25?
@@elnuevemendez None
As always honda dissapoints with its tech and interior quality revamps compared to Korean alternatives, especially considering the higher pricing,
Man I don’t like the rear design of this generation pilot
I am not in love.
I am in love and will be getting this exact vehicle soon. After over a year and 100s of TH-cam reviewers my choice is final.
