The stem that handle hooked to Unscew cap on bottom of unit straight blow and valve stem should pull out completely But if broken it will be 2 pieces or more obviously
The spool valve in the Pto housing is held together with a very small diameter role pin that sometimes breaks. Find a good parts breakdown and it will show you where the pin is. Valve comes out the bottom of the housing. Make sure to carefully count the number of turns it takes to remove the nut on the top of the valve where the linkage connects to keep the hydrolic pressure where it's set at. A good shop manuel will clearly explain how to do the job.Just takes a little time ,not a bad job to do. Those pto units were made from the 06 series through the 88 series.
Yes I was thinking the same thing. That pin shears when kicking the PTO out by just hitting the lever to kick it out. That sudden jar shears that little pin off.
The 6610 must be the favourite Ford now Jacob with all the work it’s getting :)
The bigger tires, lights and weights help. The power steering is super easy. It doesn't have any leaks.
The good thing about the Whirl-A-Feed is that lower HP tractors can drive it. We used to run one with a 35HP Allis WD.
I've filled many 70' silos with a Farmall Super M, silage and haylage.
That PTO problem happened to our 706. It was just a tiny pin that sheared off inside.
Enjoyed your video Jacob things happen now can make video on repair. Have a great day.
Ford action!!! it will be nice to hear the White?? with turbo on the job there
Have you used the hydro 84 for any recently it would be cool if you pulled of the loader since it’s quick attach and use it for field work
At least it didn't do it in the middle of the load... A turbo would make it a 7610.
most common 1066 and others , problem ; suction tube falls out of pto pump in back
Good video.
A 285 Massey would do wonders on that... 6610 is good nuff.

Didn’t want to put the 135 on the blower? She ain’t earned her keep around there yet 🤣

If You replace it with a little cotter pin seems to last longer.
Why was there a cow running a round
Ford to the rescue! Turbo on that Ford would add a solid 10HP moving the 6600 up to a 7700 class.
