It's funny, I can both understand, but also, am in disbelief that he could forget he owned a tractor that was at your place. Might be worth getting a couple extra big HF black/silver tarps to throw over whatever your working on. They may look tacky but keeping the weather off your projects saves so much degradation. I thought the bin site was gonna be across from the house where you took the shed down. Just filled to driveway grade with millings and bin slabs above. That's a good spot too out behind the barn
Chris, have you ever wondered why a lot of folks have grain bins close to a road? You will spend a small fortune getting electric back there, and the gravel bill will bust the bank. You already struggle to get in and out of your driveway, why would you double the struggle
Ever thought about trying to find a old half tire manure alley scraper? They work good for cleaning the slop up in the barnyard!! Done that many times to remove the mud and melting snow.
Chris great videos and please keep them coming. Your health concern is alarming and the symptoms you have discussed make me think of my first Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis flare up I had. Please get healthy and stay safe
That's what I thought too my daughter has it she had her first symptoms at 18. Her right leg became numb and she couldn't lift it to walk she had to just drag it. We had no idea what was going on and my wife's friend had a sister with MS when she heard she said get her checked immediately for MS. Sure enough she has it.
@Otherrandomguy42 I didn't have my first symptoms until I was 35, and everything Chris has said about numb hands and everything I had myself. I am 45 now, and PPMS has taken my ability to walk and use my left arm and hand. I hate what MS dose to everyone who has it.
@@steve-k3y9hmy daughter got put on a medication. She was diagnosed when she was 18 and she's 27 now so she's had it for a little over 9 years. Without the medication and high daily dosage of vitamin d should already be in a wheelchair or so they told her.
Enjoyed watching today's action Thanks Chris and a hope you get yourself sorted (ask the doctor for ivermectin cos the stuff works wonders for aches pains muscle stuff)
My back problems went undiagnosed when I was your age. I had spinal stenosis from several issues that caused strange tingling and numbness in my left leg. Eventually I ended up using a wheelchair. Get checked by a neurologist or spinal specialist. Good luck and Merry Christmas.
You show ask the guy with the fleet of Mack manure trucks what you need to set your timing at he seems pretty knowledgeable and then leave it alone. It would be worth getting a tarp just to cover the front of that dump trailer water is gonna soak back through the corn.
Get well Chris aways get a second opinion, there’s only one of you! Hopefully harvest from hell is soon over with. Weather can be a pain in the rear at times for sure but you cannot change Mother Nature!
you have been pushing hard, I use to do that on the truck 3 to 4 hrs sleep a day ,then after 5 yrs. running like that ,body said NO stayed in hospital 4 days to recover. Dont push so hard I know you want to get things done but rest one day a week.
I’m by no means telling you what to do but think about power when putting up a bin site. As you know it can get really pricey to bury wire. Unless you’re going to run a generator
@@WNYFarmer lmao for what. ?? They do nothing if the corn is wet you need an actual propane or NG dryer anyways. Go to Manitoba tons of remote site bins everywhere. No power for miles on some of them.
@@Otherrandomguy42fans do nothing for wet grain?? Oh. Thought he was talking about his future there not short term. I can see you know all there is about storing grain so I’ll keep my comment to myself next time
Your yard is slowly changing color to yellow😅. Do you plan on using the barn for animals? Why not knock down some walls and just have a shed for your trucks?
You can't you take the ceiling ( hay mow floor) out of those old barns that divided the hayloft from the milking stable you take away all the structural integrity in the whole thing will collapse.
I use to have lots of body aches first thing you need to do is eat right and QUIT drinking soda mountain dew is terrible when I was younger I abused my body now I'm paying the price I know it's hard but you need to sleep more your always running
He probably can but they charge per ton or bushel per month and with corn already below break even price it wouldn't make sense unless there was an end in sight where it would be $5.50 or $5.70 a bushel by April or May. But there isn't.
@@Otherrandomguy42 the local grain house i can do that just not 100% sure how it goes on the books i do know they charge a price per bushel per month i think it is i hope prices take a turn for the better in 2025 after we get set up with new leader aka president
@@mattphillips4260there doesn't seem to be any forecast of the near future of higher corn price. There's an oversupply in the global market mostly from the large yield increases we've seen over the last 10 years. Everybody's agronomist was getting to buy products to push their yield to the Max and there was never a home for that car and there was no market for it.

Looks like a older hopper trailer with a good tarp would help yo out. Can hld and haul 25 tons. Could be pulled with any truck.
Good to see the corn leaving keep doing you and I'll keep watching liking and commenting take care of yourself
When putting up your grain bins. They say you want access to the road and close access to electricity.
Chris, have you ever wondered why a lot of folks have grain bins close to a road? You will spend a small fortune getting electric back there, and the gravel bill will bust the bank. You already struggle to get in and out of your driveway, why would you double the struggle

Chris , they do sell tarps .
Yeah if you're gonna truck your own corn they're not optional. Lol
Any word on the Kenworth engine condition, gone pretty quiet on that front?

The cost to put your bins back there could be crazy . The cost to run electricity back there 3 phase I'm guessing over 50,000
Why would you need power lmao. Used grain vacs are dirt cheap.
I could probably leave two or three months on what's laying around on the ground😂

Ask your Doc about a rheumatologist referral.
The Bin will help greatly.
have them check for MS. multiple scoliosis

You should of gave that junk corn to your pigs
